Everybody should read Powers. It's a damn good blend of police procedural and superheroes. (Plus lots of swearing, violence, and cartoony nudity.)

I don't remember seeing that symbol in the books, but it looks like the logo for a "power" (they rarely use the word superhero) or more likely a team of powers.

I'm still underwhelmed by the lead casting. Charles S. Dutton is great though.

i loved the powers series. Bendis is a great writer, and if they stick close to the source material, it should be a good show as well.

I agree that the casting killed my excitment for this. incredibly non-interesting choices and missing any "oh! i didn't think of them but they're perfect!" moments.

ah well. it's Bendis and FX. that's a double dose of proven quality, so it's worth watching. but frankly I think Patric puts me to sleep in the first hour.

and sorry to not be up on current Powers lore, what is that symbol??
