RUNAWAYS: The PRIDE Is Left Scrambling In The New Promo & Photos For Season 1, Episode 8: "Tsunami"

Tuesday's installment of Marvel's Runaways ended in jaw-dropping fashion as Janet (Ever Carradine), in an effort to save her son Chase (Gregg Sulkin), shot her husband Viktor (James Marsters) and left him bleeding on the ground with an uncertain fate, which puts the PRIDE in a very unfamiliar situation without one of their leaders.

Meanwhile, there was also plenty of team drama as Molly (Allegra Acosta) was sent into exile after accidentally letting it slip to Catherine that she had seen the PRIDE during the murder ritual in the pilot. Now, with only three episodes remaining, her exile should set up a few interesting situations in the final few hours as the Runaways inch closer and closer to becoming the team fans know and love from the comics.

Watch out the new promo for episode eight, titled "Tsunami," below:

If this show came out in the 90's/early 2000's it would have been revolutionary. As it is, I think it sits well among it's contemporaries.

If you like teen dramas it is well worth watching.

This show can be so damn boring. The most recent episode almost put me to sleep. I don't give a shit about their parents having an affair, yet we need to spend multiple episodes focused on it. I keep tuning in thinking all of this exposition is going to pay off and it doesn't. They teased a major death, which fell flat because the character was a dick and no one cared for him anyway.

This show is solid, but...I totally forgot it was on after Agents of SHIELD returned.

So, that shows my interest levels.

I love this series, it's entertaining, but DEFINITIVELY needs more budget for CGI
