INCORPORATED Actor Sean Teale Joins The Cast Of Fox's X-MEN Drama Series As A Mutant Character Named Eclipse

We know that Jamie Chung will be playing an established Marvel Comics hero on Fox's new X-Men TV series, but the second mutant character to be added to the ensemble will be one created just for the show.

According to Deadline, Sean Teale (Incorporated, Reign, Skins) will play Marcos Diaz/Eclipse, "a natural rebel compelled by circumstances to cooperate with others, Marcos is a passionate and strong-willed fighter who sometimes lets his emotions overrule reason." Eclipse will have the power to absorb and manipulate photons, which sounds a little like a variation on Sunspot's solar-based ability.

Bryan Singer will direct the pilot episode of the still not officially titled X-Men family drama series, which will also star Blair Redford and Stephen Moyer.

Is it possible that this series is set in the roginal timeline (between The Wolverine and Futruee DoFP)?
It would make sense if mutants are on the run from sentinels + having Blink be involved.

I just think its a great way to tie into the film universe but avoid continuty issues/ not be restrained by the films (like some of the MCU shows are)
