THE GIFTED: The Morlocks & Purifiers Square Off In The New Promo For Season 2, Episode 14: "calaMity"
After another thrilling episode of The Gifted, next week's hour looks to up the ante as Reeva's paranoia intensifies. Meanwhile, the Morlocks prepare for a big-time showdown with the Purifiers.
Following the discovery of a traitor in their midst, Reeva's (Grace Byers) vision for the Inner Circle is on the verge of collapse, which sends the ice queen on a violent mission for revenge. Meanwhile, Caitlin (Amy Acker) and Reed (Stephen Moyer) debate using the serum to help Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind) deal with the rapid development of her powers.
The hour will also see the Morlocks and Purifiers come face-to-face for what's sure to be a brutal showdown and the new preview even teases a potential major casualty, which could change everything as we head into the final few episodes of the season.

When one of the Inner Circle goes missing, Reeva intensifies security in their compound, but realizes that her plans may have already been exposed. Furious and paranoid, Reeva resorts to violence. Caitlin and Reed consider using the serum to restrict Lauren's use of her powers, hoping it will help her as she wrestles with nightmares about the Inner Circle and her ancestors. And it's the battle of two extreme ideologies when the Morlocks and the Purifiers come face-to-face in battle in the all-new "calaMity" episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Feb. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
