Maybe they should have instead titled this "NOT Heroes" to prevent confusion.

@MrDandy - Hahaha!

I keep thinking, "Save the cheerleader. Save the world."

I don't think I stuck around Heroes long enough to figure out why the cheerleader was so important.

This is gonna be interesting.

Also there are many people in RL and in the Marvel universe who share many similar names. Best example? Richard Parker is both the name of Peter Parker's father and also of The Hood.

Looks pretty generic.... what a wasted opportunity to bring the X-MEN to television.

BTW, Stephen Moyer would make an awesome Magneto. You know, the bad guy Jack and Stan created.

@ChuckV - X-Men can only work with a substantial budget and be on HBO.

These cheesy tween shows are kind of killing the vibe/potential the superhero shows can explore. A lot of X-Men heroes have heartbreaking origins and many involve child abuse, drug addiction, and child abandonment which could be explored on HBO with a TV-MA rating.

I never considered X-Men to be for children. It was always the darker side of Marvel to me in terms of origins.

@SonOfAGif - Totally agree.... at the very least, Fox could've aired it on FX (which is pretty close to HBO) and given it a slightly larger budget. It's really NOT that hard if they used more of the stories from the source material.
