WANDAVISION Seemingly Confirmed For December Debut On Disney+ Despite Thanksgiving Rumors

With The Falcon and The Winter Soldier presumably pushed into 2021, WandaVision is now set to be the first Marvel Studios TV series coming to Disney+ this year.

Despite rumours that the show will be with us in time for Thanksgiving, a new promo shared by the streaming service appears to indicate otherwise. As you can see, in this new announcement video hyping everything that's coming to Disney+ in November, there's no mention of WandaVision.

The Marvel series has been confirmed for a 2020 debut, so don't panic, because we'll almost certainly see it in December (that was always the plan for the show, and it's just fortunate that work was much further along than on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier which missed its August debut).

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding WandaVision, especially as it seems we can expect it to set the stage for both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (and if last night's news is any indication, Spider-Man 3 as well). As for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we currently have no idea whether the series will premiere on the streaming service before or after Black Widow

We have a lot to look forward to in November on Disney+, but getting to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe before the year is over is definitely going to be the highlight for most fans.

It’s possible it’s not coming at all this year with the way things are going that wouldn’t surprise me at all. I’m intrigued by this show more than anything. I wonder if they’re going to give Monica her powers

@MyCoolYoung - It's a show on a streaming service it's coming this year since the first season has pretty much finished filming and all that's left do can be done at home.

@batman001 - yeah and we also had things get pushed back. They had some reshoots what like 2 weeks ago? Until we get a release date I’m not holding my breath that’s just the year we’ve had

@MyCoolYoung - Ezxcept the things that got pushed back were either A) films heading for the big screen or B) Unfinished products like films or TV shows this has finshed productionm and is heading for a streaming service and so all they have to do on release day is just upload the episodes and that's it.

This has been a year of mad concept TV shows.. Lovecraft Country and The Third Day have been both freaky as hell n the best stuff i’ve seen on TV in a long time. Based on the trailer this looks in that category, would love to end the year on another high with this

@Cap1 - what’s The Third Day / where can I watch it?

@PicolasCage - HBO Max, man. First 3 eps have Jude Law visiting this remote island in the UK called Osea, and then some mad culty shit develops, then next 3 eps are with Naomi Harris visiting the Island. Split into 3 parts, Laws part - Summer, then they done a 12 hour livestream on facebook which was a festival on Osea (which was incredible) for Autumn, then Harris’s part is Winter.

@PicolasCage - go into it ideally entirely blind, cos it’ll blow ur mind. It’s slow and ambigious and some people may call it pretentious (which it sorta is) but it’s fantastic TV. Suspense is crazy and it’s very intriguing

Considering the lack of four quadrant new content they have on the platform, it makes sense they'd draw out what they as much as possible.
