Every show needs the chance to grow on you and anyways its already better that [frick]ing Smallville... that lost its great scripts and writing since season 8 thanks to CW!

Granted, that actor CHESS may not be the best but he's still much better and ten times the actor than that [frick]ing actor who plays ZOD... damn that guy sucks. : P

P.S. This ain't a film... its a series.. everyone expects more from films yes, thats why you can keep ya X-sh1te.

I'll support it coz I'm a comic book fan, slow start but I reckon the show has potential to be good...

Look at Smallville... when it first started it was mutie of the week, but then by season 2 it got gold, edge of your seat stuff and for many seasons, well didn't last tho I know...

Once CW took over moved the show to Metropolis... brought in [frick]ing Doomsday, new writers etc, my fav show turned 2 sh1t... its called Smallville 4 a reason, but oh well lol.

Saying that tough, its not all bad... JSA, LEGION, etc was good.

i'm a comic fan & a lover of decent tv & film,sadly this is not.

Yeah i have ot agree with everyone. This show is really bad. My girlfriend and i couldnt even make it through the two hour promo. There was alot of stuff happening with no substance but filled with bad acting,pacing, editing, and directing. This show is perfect for people with add or kids under 14.

I wanted to like The Cape, I really did. After the first hour I decided straightening up the basement was more productive and interesting. I give it 1 season at most.

I for one am enjoying The Cape. It has an old-school comic book look and feel to it. Note the use of color on the sets and in the outfits (and costume) worn by the actors. The action is shot and paced in a comic book-like manner also, which adds to the show's unique style. We also have a hero who acts like a hero, not some whiny little douche who has to be forced to do the right thing or who whines about his powers or abilities. Is the show perfect? No. I could nitpick it- but I see a show that is trying at least to do a superhero story and is putting a lot more effort into it than any live-action show I've seen in a long time.
