The site reports that the actor who played the Juggernaut in 2006's X-Men 3 will apparently play Scales, "a frightening man with a freakish skin condition that gives him the appearance of green and gold scales."

Jones joins previously cast regulars David Lyons, Keith David and Summer Glau. In case you dont know about the show, here's the official synopsis:

"The series, set in the fictional metropolis of Palm City, follows a innocent cop who has been framed for a crime he did not commit and then left for dead after he is caught. He is eventually saved by a circus ringleader who prepares him with special abilities to defend himself against his foes. Separated from his wife and son, he tries to clear his name while protecting them from being killed if he was ever reported alive. He takes the law into his own hands by taking the guise of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape, after he is given a special suit that has unique capabilities. Vowing to get rid of the corruption that has taken over both the city and the police force, he goes after the person responsible for setting him up and causing his demise."

And here is the trailer which was released last month:

The Cape is expected to air from 2010–2011 as a midseason replacement.

I do think the show looks ok but the concept is ridiculous. I hate the whole dressing as his kids comic hero thing. So what, people think the character has magically sprang to life from the page? Also Vinnie Jones is about as useful as a cock flavored lolipop.

The condemned is not a bad rental, it's even better if you don't have to pay for it. It's not a bad movie if you go in with low expectations.

@lobojon1 thanks for the advice, i think i might check it out soon then, besides, i am a steve austin and wrestling fan, i might as well, lol.. especially considering i made my own design for a captain america suit with john cena on my avatar pic, trying to make a poster with wwe guys as superheroes is definitely gonna take some work.. i got a randy orton ironman and rey mysterio spiderman coming soon as well..

Personally, I think this show looks pretty damned good! (even though it's not exactly the most original of concepts as ROR rightly points out!)

I've never been a huge Vinnie Jones fan but he was actually quite good in the last season of Chuck so I'll give him a chance...No Ordinary Family looks a lot better than this though IMO. :P

This will be canceled after 2 episodes and you'll be able to pick it up in Walmart by November. This sounds stupid. Vinnie is gonna play someing this greenish- golden skin .. sounds like they are taking it outta reality and making this with powers. Just have it where the main character has powers or now one has them.

@teabag who the heck is that?! haha.. damn, that guy looks like a bizzaro-world or some mutated version of snuka, lol.. sorry but i didn't see the resemblance to him at all, lol.. sure made me laugh though, just like that blade twilight sooner or later pic, that was one of my faves so far..

@lobojon1 i know! im really looking forward to it! i have been going nuts tring to hear the full version of shinedown's new song exclusively for expendables, "diamond eyes", not to be confused with the new deftones song/album of the same name.. i have a feeling this will be up there in my personal collection of absolute best movies!

@Talond you know, she is hot, and your pics really almost distracted me from what i had to say, but that's not a bad thing.. hahaha.. summer glau is amazing, she has easily become up there with my other favorites like kristen stewart, jena malone, and especially ELLEN PAGE!!! theres something about summer though that reminds me of ellen page, i just can't figure out what it is?...

@kooldeath well, just because he expresses mutant qualities doesn't necessarily mean he will have powers, they could still ground this in reality easily if they wanted to.. there are people all over the world with extraordinary gifts and curses by means of mutation or ethereal while existing in every day life, this show could be a good example of that, the description of his character actually kinda relates to me..
