Check Out The First Official Images From Netflix's THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA
We know that we're getting a very different take on Sabrina the Teenage Witch with Netflix's upcoming series and now the first images are here, making it abundantly clear that the youngster is going dark.
Well, it appears as if Sabrina the Teenage Witch's world is about to get really dark. On October 26th, first season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina hits Netflix and we'll be getting a totally different take on the beloved character from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (this was originally envisioned as a spinoff for The CW series but plans ultimately changed and it's heading to Neflix now).
As Entertainment Weekly puts it, "Sabrina gets a darker coming-of-age story as the half-human half-witch has to decide what kind of life she wants while also battling the evil forces that threaten her. The show is based on the comic of the same name and stars Kiernan Shipka in the titular role, along with Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, and more."
In these first official images from the show, we get our best look yet at this new take at Sabrina as well as the first shot of her aunts and a very mysterious looking man who appears to be performing some sort of bizarre ritual.
