THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA: Check Out The First Poster For Netflix's Upcoming Series

We got our first glimpse of Kiernan Shipka as a new incarnation of the titular teenage witch earlier this year, and now Netflix has unveiled the first poster for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina...

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator and executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recently shared a first look at Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men, The Blackcoat's Daughter) as the magical heroine of the title, and now Netflix has debuted the first promo poster.

The image takes a minimalist approach, giving us a pretty cool artist's interpretation of Sabrina and her talking cat, Salem.

The upcoming series was originally envisioned as a tie-in to The CW’s Riverdale, but plans changed when Netflix took over distribution.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will also star Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood.

This is gonna sound weird, but the Cat needs to move to the right about an eighth of an inch.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker movie is a go.

@NinnesMBC

If nothing else we’ll have a great performance from Joaquin. And Todd Phillips has a good eye behind the camera.

@regularmovieguy - Yes that is true. This will be the debut of their "mature DC banner" so it eat least deserves the benefit of doubt for the first entry.

I am going to keep a close eye on this. I enjoyed the original one, very funny. I just hope that it is a nice blend of things and doesn't go full Riverdale because that show for a teenage one aimed does over the top things that not even Teen Wolf did in it's first Seasons.

Crossing fingers for a nice show.

And for a cute Salem. :3

Well, as along time Archies fan and having embraced the comics reboot from 2015- ,I can say that I've had my fill of seeing childhood or classic comics characters/stories crapped on.
I was hyped fer Riverdale in the beginning of 2017, enjoyed the first season quite a bit for the most part, but they're overtly determined to make things as twisted and depraved as possible, it seems, rather than create a unique and compelling or cleverly entertaining show. Shock-Value's what they're all about now, it seems.
How the hell does Midge get crucified to a wall with cooking knives in an "Archies-based show"?!
Nah, thanks, CW, but I'll just watch AnnE With An E and Cloaak & Dagger and wait fer season 2&3 of Runaways and Legion respectively.

So, it won't be tied into Riverdale? That sucks.

It’s based off the current Comics which is amazing the guy who wrote the books is the show runner for this so I’m already sold

Lack of Riverdale tie-in deflates the hype alot. Still, wanted to see a darker dramatic toned take on Sabrina long before Riverdale aired.

This poster makes me think she is kissing Salem. Isn't that like, incest or something?

I have hope for this. I fell off Riverdale this season but still

I really hope its hard core R-rated ......and not "edgy", which basically means PG-13 with a lot of mild swearing and the odd splash of blood.
