Stranger Things Season 4, Volume I is now streaming, and Netflix (via Bloody Disgusting) has released the first footage from the feature-length Volume II episodes, which are set to hit the streamer on July 1st.

The concluding moments of episode 7 brought a shocking revelation to light (find out more here), and it looks like a showdown between the now re-powered Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the murderous creature known as Vecna is on the way.

Elsewhere, it seems Hopper, Joyce and Murray have escaped the frying pan only to be faced with the fire, as another malevolent threat is unleashed in the Russian prison.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang may have managed to save Max with Kate Bush's help, but discovering that new portal to the Upside Down clearly comes with a whole new set of dangers.

Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you thought of the first 7 episodes in the comments section.

“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. “In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Both Volume II episodes will clock in at over two hours a piece!

On paper, much of what we've seen from this season sounds great, but man, have I lost my investment in this show. Really feels like the Duffer Brothers are trying to convince me they have done their planning and groundwork for these storylines and characters when the past few seasons proved otherwise. Episode 7 would have hit a lot harder in another reality.

With these episodes lengths and two-part release, it feels like this is the final season. And maybe it should be, because I can't buy the cast as kids at all anymore.

This season has been incredible. I think this is one of the few shows that I like more every season. First was alright, second was good, loved the third and think the 4th is my favourite. I don’t understand why people are so negative about it, iit’s a far better show than it was to start with. How many shows have this many likeable characters and dynamics and this sort of movie quality effects and cinematography (the 80s recreation is just so good). This season is the first that has felt like the plot and mystery are up to snuff too. First season felt underwhelming to me as it ended up being exactly what it looked like from the start; a very basic ‘monster from another dimension’ plot. Eleven was exactly what she seemed to be from the start, too. Second season just added a different monste r that was essentially a ball of smoke that could possess people, and the same monster from the first but in puppy form. Third was a refreshing because it was a little more unique with the giant monster made of liquified corpses. Fourth has upped the horror, keeping things fresh, and has that great twist and a great villain. And it has had an ‘all bets are off’ vibe. I 100% thought Max would actually die. Didnt matter that she didnt, if they can make you feel real stakes that’s all that matters. I bought that she would and they earned that. And I think yhey are gonna off someone big before the end of this season. I think it’ll be steve or nancy. Better [frick]in not be Steve.

What an awesome season. Gotta give it to Netflix for putting everything into it. 9 episodes, long runtimes, amazing production quality, and it's been a blast.

I can see why they're in debt.

I thought we created another site for non CBM entries. If we're gonna change things we should be consistent or just go back to the way things were before. I get really disappointed when I enticipate articles here but then find them on sister sites with 0 comments.

I really liked the first episode so I'm gonna keep watching before it's the 1st of July and I somehow end up forgetting.
