A new "Shattered Alliances" story/gameplay trailer for upcoming video game sequel, Injustice 2, has been released, shifting focus to a third faction that's set to enter the battle between those aligned with The Man of Steel, and The Dark Knight's forces.

Grodd's Society will consist of supervillains such as Poison Ivy, Deadshot, Captain Cold, and Catwoman, and you can see all of them and more in action below.

We also have a cool new poster featuring Grodd charging into battle against Green Arrow and Black Canary, along with a Captain Cold character trailer.

The Lines Have Been Redrawn. The line between hero and villain has become blurred as the most epic battle in the DC universe rages on in Injustice 2. While Batman has emerged the victor in his battle against the Regime, a new threat arises and poses the ultimate threat to Earth.

Injustice 2 will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning on the 19th of May 2017.

@VenomGT - Killed by Superman which pretty much started the events of Injustice 1. I don't see any reason why they can't bring him back as a playable character though.

This game looks so awesome,I'm glad they didn't hold back on adding so many cool characters,Injustice 3 should be even bigger

Glad to see Scarecrow is actually similar to his Cillian Murphy appearance. It looks like he only take on the demonic form once he is in battle, maybe while the other player is under fear has hallucinations

Also, glad they made Cold a BADASS

I agree with Captain Cold being a badass though.

Last comic book video game I played was Spider-Man 2 on Ps2. At the time it was a big deal, cause you could just swing around the entire city and do what you wanted. Miss that game.

@Kman - I guess you wouldn't know but, that Spidey game, Spidey 2, was the ONLY game to implement such an intricate swinging mechanic. It has never been improved upon or even touched again.

Spider-Man 2 is legit a fantastic game for the swing mechanics alone. The things you could do once you got the hang of it.....

@Menks123 - I still only have a Ps2... and never play video games anymore. But this makes me kinda wanna rethink that.

As for the wife, she just needs to get a job on the nightshift like mine. She goes to work, and I have quality time with the Playstation.

Man netherealm games take FOREVER to come out, probably due to the heavy marketing that starts months prior to release. But then again, I guess it IS April already..... jeez.....

These games need new costume designers. The costumes are ugly as hell, once again. A slight improvement from the first game, but still ugly.
