Injustice: Gods Among Us gave fans the opportunity to pit their favourite DC Comics heroes and villains against each other in Mortal Kombat style slugfests, and now the sequel looks set to take those to the next level. As you can see in the gameplay reveal below, the likes of Aquaman and Supergirl will be going to war with Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus, while Batman...well, he's fighting Superman again.

If you weren't a fan of the first game, chances are this won't be for you either, but it really does look great. With the promise of the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game and battles which will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis, Injustice 2 promises to be a must buy. Here's the official synopsis:

Can we have the DC video game people direct DC movies? Or even just not do DC movies but more DC video games since the video game people (Netherrealm, WB Montreal, Rocksteady) do a better job with DC characters than those who do movies.

Hell the DC video game people have done since a great job, they practically murdered Marvel since they are done with video games (FYI, Lego games were by WB so don't bring that up)
