Video game publisher, Little Orbit, announced today that the new action RPG, Young Justice: Legacy, will be coming out in February of 2013 and will be available on on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS and Wii console platforms. There may be couple more platforms, but the publisher is not quite ready to announce them yet (more on that to come -- stay tuned).

A couple weeks ago, the first six playable heroes were revealed on the Official website and there are no surprises to the roster. The villains are: Lex Luthor, Sportsmaster, Cheshire, Icicle Jr., Killer Frost, and Black Manta. Robin, Aqualad, Miss Martian, Superboy, Kid Flash, and Artemis have already been announced as members of the core team that you can play as in the game. In the upcoming weeks, the remaining six playable heroes will be anounced. Each of the characters will have a signature moves and skills that make them unique to the squad.

Young Justice: Legacy will be an Action RPG where players control multiple characters in a squad created from 12 possible team members to explore, fight, gather experience, and level up. It will feature both solo and multiplayer missions that follow an epic plot-line spanning many locations all across the DC Comics world of Earth-16 (the universe of the current Young Justice TV series). Young Justice: Legacy is based on WB's animated series currently airing on Cartoon Network, the folks at Little Orbit have been working with the show's creators to polish up the storyline which takes place between Season 1 and Season 2.
