A small fan site dedicated to post wishes and fan arts based on FOX's super hero movies, posted today a really touching open letter adressed directly to FOX's producers Lauren Schuler Donner, Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg appealing to them for a proper treatment of the main movies of the franchise. At the end of the letter, they appeal to fans that share the letter to the world, so it can goes to Fox. Below, a copy of the letter:

Dear Fox, Simon Kinberg, Lauren Schuler Donner and Bryan Singer

My name doesn’t really matter because what I’ll try to do in this note will be speak in the name of all X-Men fans - with my own opinion, of course, but trying to get a middle point between the extremes.
First of all, I’d like to thank you all for the work you’ve done so far. Many of us don’t like what you did until now, but we have to thank you. If it wasn’t for X-Men – The Movie, back in 2000, maybe super hero movies were still in trouble. And I really love that movie. And X2, that is, for me, the best one so far… And, I may not have thaaat love for X3, but it has its good moments and scenes.
You gave us First Class and Days of Future Past, movies that we can’t deny that were at least great movies. But, and don’t take it personally, Apocalypse left us kind of scared for the future of our beloved franchise.

Some of us loved Apocalypse, some of us were disappointed, others really hated the movie. But the thing is: the movie has its great moments and we really loved the new X-Men. This week we received the News about the dates that you saved for 2018’s releases.
We are really curious about New Mutants, really excited about Deadpool 2 and  concerned about Dark Phoenix.
We all think that’s too soon for us to see something like this. But our guess is: probably the script is already written and there’s nothing we can do about it. So, thinking of the future, we have decided to shout.

You promised us more uses of powers in Apocalypse. And we had destruction. But our beloved Storm was reduced to a lightning striker, and we saw a short battle at the end. We want more than that.  You left all the action for the climax, and we wanted more.

As I said, we loved the new generation. Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Kodi Smith McPhee were the best things in Apocalypse. But we want more from them. And not just dramatic and tough stuff. We want to see them as we read in the comics: as a team, who work together in dark, but also in happy moments. We want to see more of team work like in Days of Future Past’s future, with that interaction and use of powers. We want to see Jean and Scott dating, Nightcrawler messing around… We want to see their fun adventures through the outer space. We want to see them in action in their classic uniforms.  We want to know the good and kind Jean Grey BEFORE she go crazy as Dark Phoenix. We want the care that you have in character development, but without sacrifice action. And good action.

We love that you’re trying to do something different than the other companies, but we want a little bit of that “not-so-serious” tone that makes people love in Marvel Studio’s movies, mixed with the creativity and deep content that you bought to us in Deadpool and Logan. We want THAT quality in our X-Men movies. We want to be stunned by  great visuals and action sequences like we were watching “Mad Max: Fury Road”, and also touched by great emotional moments just like the ones you gave us in movies like X2, DOFP and Logan.

So, please, listen to us a little bit. Read the good comments and texts spread on the internet and PLEASE bring us the X-Men back to the frontline of super hero movies. That’s the reason of this open letter for you, and we wish that the fans spread this to the world!

Thank you for your time, and we hope you listen to us.

Well, that is the letter and we hope that really gets to them! The X-Men are too important to be reduced to what we have seen so far.

This week, Fox announced the release dates for next three movies, New Mutants, Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, all to be released in 2018.

I'd love for Fox to do the things you described, but unfortunately, their best bet right now is to focus on R-rated properties like Logan and Deadpool.

Shit I remember when I was young, we were happy with whatever comic book movie we got. Even the ones most consider bad I still like. All of them except...

Catwoman
Ghost Rider Spirit of vengeance

And I dislike Man of Steel. I don't hate it, but I'm not a fan. Will watch it if it's on TV but it did not get purchased on Blue ray.

I even like the Shaquille O'Neal movie Steel.

Why don't you send this to Fox instead of posting it here?

You should also make specific suggestions in terms of plot and pacing.

x2 was great and I like days also and first class...but none of these are true to the comics and that's my problem....Use the costumes, don't have Mystique leading the X-Men, don't have Cyclops basically just be a movie prop.

They finally did deadpool right and we saw the reaction from fans, its that's simple, be true to the character and the fans will love it. stop trying to reinvent the wheel, the X-Men were the most popular comic for a decade+ for a reason.

Wow that was a Beautifully written, pleasing letter. I really appreciate the hard work you had put to make this letter.
I too want some good Xmen movies. I think some of the best were First class and Days of future past. Also X2 was pretty good too. But the recent Apocalypse didn't work for me.
I hope this letter reaches to Fox and let them listen the voice of the Xmen fanboys. Good job.
