Empire has now released a couple of images from the latest issue of their magazine, giving us a new look at Michael Fassbender as Erik "Magneto" Lehnscherr in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, as well as the first official still from the Bumblebee movie.

The X-Men pic finds Magneto in very bad shape and seemingly about to be accosted by a group of mysterious individuals. Meanwhile, the first image from the upcoming Transformers spin-off features Hailee Steinfeld's character alongside Bumblebee in his classic VW Beetle mode.

"I wanted to approach this massive, expansive franchise and really focus in on a tiny corner of the canvas," Bumblebee director Travis Knight tells the mag. "Everything I’ve tried to do at Laika, searching for an artful blend of darkness and light, intensity and warmth, humour and heart, I wanted to bring to the Transformers franchise."

Check out both pics below, and let us know which movie you're most looking forward to.

@knocturnalzen10 - I would say mostly hits. Out of the 10 X-Men movies, I think only 3 of them are bad. The rest range from good to incredible. But when it comes to Phoenix, I have Apocalypse and X3 on the mind which makes me worried.

@WW2Vet - 10 seconds in one movie and there was never an actual dance off, Itwas just a distraction. Have you even seen any of the MCU movies?

It would be nice if they could work some magic with the infinity stones to keep him as magneto.

@DeathSeal - As much as I like Fasbender as Magneto, I think they need to just reboot and recast it all.

I also feel like Magneto should only appear in the first movie, then move on to other things after that.

I would love for Marvel to use Sinister as the overarching villain in their films. Working things from the background and influencing events until they finally face him in the 3rd or 4th film.

Having said that, I can't really think of a better villain than Magneto for the first film to introduce everything.
