@DrDoom yes it is,the extended cut is better,longer fighting scene with the ninjas,and some other extra scenes

Yeah the Extended cut is really good and it gives us some good ol blood and violence fitting Wolverine. The ninja fight in particular is appropriately bloody and much better this time around.

@DrDoom the end was very generic with the huge robot. Reminded me of real steel and bald viper made the movie a comedy. Overall it was a good movie but it was average at best. Forgettable movie that showed once again that Fox needs to give up the rights to x men.

Yeah Fox has done a mess with X-universe, but lately i think they're cleaning up their mess now.

Another reason I liked The Wolverine a lot cause its a personal CBM, not about the bad guy taking over the world or universe like we have been getting lately. I agree, the sequels are going to explore more into his story and finally gets his costume

Possibly my favorite CBM of the year in theatrical form, so I am very excited to see the extended cut.

I also like the very personal nature of the story.

For those expecting the Unleashed Extended version to be in 3D (when buying the 3d box version) - I'm afraid you are out of luck. It's sneaky and slightly against thge Trade Descriptions Act (at least in this country: UK) - but the disc with the Extended version (out of the 3d box) is only in 2D. Its only the standard theatrical-cut that is in 3D.

That extended cut rocks so hard. I have always complained that wolvie had no fighting skills in the movies. This one makes up for it. He finally does more than just swing claws. Then throw in a little blood, A dope extended ninja showdown, with even more yukio. The extended cut is right behind my favorite cbm this year.
