Before anyone nitpicks on Hugh's rather slim legs, it's genetics. I've seen some really buff upper-body dudes in the gym, yet try as they might, their legs are hit or miss no matter how much they train them up. Some of you saw how hard he buffed up to be Wolverine in most of the films with the character, so some vids may have included a full body workout, yet not much marked improvement on the legs. It's pretty much genetics, as explained by a trainer friend of mine.

1.The Wolverine(great)
2.Man of Steel( Really good)
3.Iron Man 3(solid)
4.Thor The Dark World(good)

The training these actors go through for these roles is extensive and severe. But the pay off is always good.

*So*

And I can't wait for the sequel! Where do you all think the sequel will go? 70's - 80's "accurate version of Weapon X", (during the two years Yukio and Wolverine were traveling?), Daken, or X-23 (return of weapon X) ??

I enjoyed the extended version way more than the theatrical version, but I am not a fan of the fight choreography overall. Wolverine is not as stiff as he is on screen. Jackman has been portraying this upright leading man, and I think it misses the mark. There are elements in Snyder's Rorschach that worked better. I know it's PG-13, but Wolverine wouldn't stroll through the middle of some Japanese street waiting for ninja arrows in his back. He is way more tactical than they show him to be. I hope they bring that out in the next one.

These guys put in work. I was shocked at how much Cavill wighed as Superman though (
92 kg to my 90), really thought he'd be heavier.

But then again I'm overweight at the moment so what do I know.

such a waste of a great story and set of characters.
lord shingen? dead and he turns into ROBOCOP??UPS i mean silver samurai?????
silver samurai?? dead and he was just a normal man??????
wolverine cry cry cry AGAIN and get his ass kicked by ninjas riding bikes and a bunch of little fat mafia dudes.
the only good thing about this movie was how they portraited mariko and yukio and yes this was CBM FOX ever made which just shows how bad they are at doing it.
Jackman is a cool dude but painfully obvious that he dont understand wolverine and he will keep sucking the life of the character to make ease money.

Damn right, @Wolvie! Jackman's passion, old Professor X Stewart, young Magneto Fassbender, and the slight chance of seeing J Law naked are the only things that keep me from giving up on this franchise.

Thought it was the best CBM of 2013 also. Man of Steel and Kick Ass 2 were decent and deserves mention. The other two (Iron Man 3 and Thor 2) do not!

Much to my surprise I have to agree that The Wolverine Extended Cut (never watched the theatrical version) probably will end up being my favourite in this year of promising, but flawed superhero movies.

Then again, actually, after having seen all of the big 4 now I'm not really sure I can properly rank them anymore. Each had some major flaws that prevented me from loving it, but I enjoyed them all quite a lot.

Before finally watching Wolverine I'd have guessed the final order would probably look like this:

1. Thor TDW
2. Man of Steel
3. The Wolverine
4. Iron Man 3

Now I say "[frick] it"! I'd probably still put Iron Man 3 at the lowest, though it's been the longest since I've seen it so even that might change. But between the other three, I honestly can't say. Each had amazing parts as well as parts I really didn't like.

Here's hoping that at least one of the 2014 superhero movies will completely satisfy and impress me! :D
