I'm praying this doesn't turn out like Origins, but with James Mangold at the helm of this film and no sign of pointless characters being added, this looks promising.

Origins did NOT look good. How did any of you even think that when it was announced that they were stuffing in so many mutants?

Hmm.
But in the comics, it was said his brain was encased in adamantium and that's how he was able to survive. Not sure what the story here will be.

I really liked the scene. It wasn't emotional or anything and I don't think it was suppose to. James Mangold is going to bring us, The Wolverine. The Wolverine movie we've always wanted.

@Batmaniac: Didn't expect less from you, the movie with the one guy playing some alien was a bit underwhelming, especially when his dad died in the tornado. Felt nothing in that scene. Enjoyable but, shit scene.

Looking like Origins 2.0 right now. Pretty funny how the blast free throws him directly into the hole. He shoots, he scores! All net.

Better than Origins from what I can tell, but the PG-13 rating is going to limit what they can do with this character. He's a slashing killer. No blood = a problem. Still, looks good for what it is and I am looking forward to it.

@TheWolverine08 - I really don't want excessive gore, I really dislike it actually unless it's extremely necessary.

But the fact here is that Logan is fighting regular human beings. Using his claws in their legs as he does in that burial clip. When I remember his comicbook stories I can't help but notice how everything looks so nice in this movie, but there's some seriousness missing in the action scenes, you know what I mean?
