Many trailers released over the past month
and yet all of them like this...
Are we destined to reuse expository narrative?
or can we change our marketing strategy
and give away too much plot details like SONY does
..new mutant footage finds itself at the edge of extinction...

I hate fox marketing strategy!

I want this film to earn more than any other x-men movies but with the marketing campaign their doing. I don't know if this film could even hit $700 million.

You really have to give credit to Marvel Studios when it comes to marketing their movies. You know each film will bring back its budget even through most of their films are mediocre.

I've decided to stop watching them to be honest. I think I already know wayyyyy too much. I sure wish Xavier could wipe my mind of spoilers right now. :(

I'm glad they're not showing a lot. Spiderman ruined the majority of the movie in the marketing. Xmen is going to be good.

Was pumped for this. But Singer and all his Boy Toys Of Future Past is a distraction.

@mightofsentinel - I'm not sure what your problem is with the marketing on this film. They have done an excellent job. I feel like I've seen enough to sell me on it without giving away the entire movie. The trailers for Day of Future Past have all been amazing, thus far.

Given this film has a budget of $230 million, Fox would be jumping up and down if they earned $600 million...let alone $700 million.

No matter which way you swing it, this movie will make its budget back...even if it's terrible (which I highly doubt).

Marvel doesn't do anything extraordinary about their marketing in comparison to anyone else, it just has a monstrous fan base and comic book movies are in these days...that's why they make so much money. When it comes to X-Men (I'm talking about the main franchise, not the spinoff bullshit), fox has always done a good job marketing them. Look at Last Stand, that film made $500 million on a $200 million budget and it was absolutely terrible. With Singer back in the directors chair, I'm confident this film will deliver and make a ton of money...even if Singer is molesting children in between takes.

Well make my butthole Sing and call me Michael, there was nothing new in that trailer.

The only new shot was the one of Xavier in the Blackbird. It looked like he was looking at his former school in flames, and we know that scene has been cut, so nothing substantially new.
