The French edition of Premiere magazine has debuted a couple of new images from Bryan Singer's upcoming X-flick, giving us new looks at Nicholas Hoult as a de-furred Beast/Hank McCoy and Evan Peters as Quicksilver..who looks to have been up to no good with some tape. The kinky devil!

So I saw the trailer. I don't quite understand how people found it to be enjoyable, but that's just me. I will most definitely be seeing this film. Hopefully Singer can fix his shortcomings.

@LP4: Everything about this movie looks goofy.

@LEEE777: Only difference is, THIS is the only outfit DoFP Quicksilver wears while the on-set photos showing AoU Quicksilver probably shows his street clothes (hence the cheap running shoes). Tony Stark won't let them on his team wearing THAT, I can promise you. ;)

Gosh... Quicksilver looks terrible. Least "Avengers: Age of Ultron's" Quicksilver has a white head of hair and his costume has lightning bolts across it. That looks like Andy Warhol and Studio 54 had a baby.

I think Brian Singer purposefully does stuff to piss off fans of the comics, it seems really passive aggressive. Any time I hear about a change being made to the characters or to the plot it always seems arbitrary, there's no point to it. I'm not just talking about DOFP, I absolutely hated X2. From the first 5 min of the movie when Storm's accent disappeared. I don't care if he accent was lousy it was a continuity issue. Or the fact that Colossus wasn't Russian or any other number of things. I honestly think Singer feels his take on the material is superior, like he's insulting the fans but he's so sly about it most people don't see the insult.

Singer has admitted to never reading the comics.

This is why Superman Returns failed and his X-Men characters are way off their mark.

I'm warming to Quicksilver's look the more I see it. It would look pretty ridiculous today but people seem to forget he does look very much of his era in the movie. Still not a patch on Whedon's take..but Peters is a terrific actor.

Gibman, yeah I can't watch movies that take such liberties. I [frick]ing hated Cap 2 because Falcon didn't have a psychic connection to birds. Took me right out of the movie!
