THIS IS A NON-PROFIT VIDEO MADE PURELY FOR FUN This is a movie that I'm curious to see get made. Magneto is arguably the most interesting character in the X-Men universe and would make an awesome stand-alone movie (if done right). I want to see the early history of Magneto in the Nazi internment camps, to meeting Xavier, to ultimately declaring war on humanity. Here's a concept video of what I'd like to see.

Now that is how we want a MAGNETO ORIGINS!!! Well the start, in the prison camp.

MAGNETO should take itself very seriously and only have some comic book traits to it.

We need a serious comic book movie and MAGNETO ORIGINS should be it!!

IAN say can be three quarters in for the film and...

CLIVE OWEN for young MAGNETO! ; D

They definately need to have McKellen in the origins at some point, even if it's just at the end.... he's a legend...no one else coulde do Magneto as good as him

McKellen is an excellent actor and I would love to see him return to this role, but after watching this I must admit that he looks a little long in the tooth. Perhaps, we should hope for a younger Magneto after all. I wouldn't mind Clive Owen, LEEE.

Ok, its very well done, but how exactly is it a fan made Origins trailer? Its just a Magneto's greatest hits from the previous X movies. Also, Im sick of the Star Trek trailer music being used in every single fan made trailer that comes out. Yes, Im grumpy today! hasn't stopped raining in this God forsaken country in 6 years

haha, Brent/Poni, believe me the base carnal desires are indulged to the full! Thats why we are an Island of drunks with kids all over the place. Ah no, Im mostly used to it, just some days...

James McAvoy is 3 foot tall and 50 pounds. Guy Peirce maybe..Owen is good too..I think Joseph Feinnes might be a good choice, he looks the part too.

I was originally against this movie, thinking it wouldn't be strong enough. Though I guess it could be cool to show him through the Holocaust, kicking Nazi ass then meeting the professor and starting the school together which in turn could lead to the X-Men: First Class.

This isnt my choice for an origin story but if they bring back Magneto for X-Men 4 or even First Class and want an actor a little younger than McKellen then Keith Carradine would be my choice! :)

I have no faith in FOX when it comes to casting for CBMs.The Xmen franchise had the worst casting EVER! Except for Professor X and Deadpool. McKellen should NEVER have been Magneto, he is a GREAT actor but no Magneto. First of all he’s way to old and frail. I always thought of Rutger Hauer as Magneto but he is starting to get up in age too. Clive Owen would be an AWSOME young Magneto, but can he be convincing as a villain? It needs to be an actor who could be convincing as a villain or a hero.

Matter of fact, who cares about Magneto any way, he's already been in 3 movies. That horse has been beaten, its time to move on to a new story line. It’s time for Apocalypse and the Fore Horsmen… But only after the Marvel gets the franchise back.

LEE: Lol, I wasnt going to wait months and months for it to be shown here in the UK so I watched it online the day after it was on in the US with you guys...its [frick]ing awesome!!! :) I watched the first 3 seasons of Dexter online in about 2 weeks and then watched the first half of Season 4 a few days ago - now I have to wait for it weekly which is killing me, lol!

i just don't like these fan made movies. some are well done, but this is just nothing but clips from all the x-movies. i'm sorry, but i can't watch that, and think, "oh man, thats what a magneto movie could look like!" because all that stuff was in the x-movies.

Very well done trailer.

I am not keen at all with a Magneto film, I think it should just be left alone.

I don't have an honest pick for an Origins Magneto, but if they use a different actor for Mags in X4 or First Class, something I would support, and change his characterization to be more powerful and intense, then Ed Harris is the man for the job!
