AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM Star Jason Momoa Gets His Villain On In New Image From FAST X

Fast X star Vin Diesel has taken to social media (via ActioNewz.com) to share a new look at Jason Momoa's unnamed villain. The Aquaman actor can be seen in costume as Dante, a character who looks like a new type of foe for Dominic Toretto's crew.

"Blessed to be a part of a Saga that encourages such great work from the many amazing artists that have made this the world’s Saga!" the Fast and Furious mainstay wrote in the caption. "A still from set after an intense, week-long scene with my brother."

Momoa has previously teased his role in Fast X, saying that while "people always think I’m just this dude who plays [macho characters]," he's now looking to do something different. It's no great surprise then that he's described Dante as "eccentric" and "a peacock at the highest level."

Diesel also dropped a new look at Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, hyping up the impending trailer launch.

That's confirmed to drop a couple of days before the Super Bowl next month, so fingers crossed we get to see Momoa in action there.

The movie's returning stars include Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood. It was also recently confirmed that Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will return as Gisele Yashar. despite the character's death in Fast & Furious 6.

As for franchise newcomers, we can expect to see Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Daniela Melchoir (The Suicide Squad), and Alan Ritchson (Titans).

In terms of story details, very little has been revealed about Fast X. However, all you probably need to know is that there will be a lot of cars, a lot of crazy stunts, and probably quite a few explosions too. Each instalment ups the ante and attempts to outdo its predecessor, so we're sure that will be the case here as well with The Incredible Hulk's Louis Leterrier in charge.

Fast & Furious 10, a.k.a. Fast X, is set to race into theaters on May 19.

This series got crazy stupid after 6 and the loss of normal guy Brian made it even worst but hopefully they can give it a good end

Also please no more Brian tease scenes, that last ones ending was just so stupid

Either get Cody in to play the role (without cgi) or dont act like he is going to show up

Like seriously mentioning him is fine up but the way it was built up and then showing to car pull up was a bit much

@dracula -

I’d be down to see Dwayne and Jason in a movie together (not as Black Adam and Aquaman, tho).

Looking forward more to this movie's sneak peek at the Super Bowl than Flash's.

Vin diesel. The Rock. The Stath. Jon Cena. Jason Mamoa. Tony Jaa. Other tough guys. Quite the tough guy pedigree. Can’t forget Rhonda Rousey and the ever wife beater wearing Michelle Rodriguez.

"people always think I’m just this dude who plays [macho characters],"

Can't say that's not true. However, I do think he can play a lot of other roles too. For some reason I wanna see him as a diva cult leader.

Knowing this franchise though, he's probably just another superspy out on revenge for Dom to fight on top of moving vehicles.
