This is a shot for shot remake of the amazing first six minutes the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark! There may not be better opening sequence in an action movie ever. Fun fact: Harrison Ford's role of Indiana Jones was offered to Tom Selleck of Magnum P.I. fame, but he wasn't able to take the part because of contractual obligations to his television show.

pretty cool. I've done some stop motion before, it's definitely time consuming.

definitely had some effort behind it but the animation is very jittery.

i respect the patience it takes to do something like that and have it look as good as that does. well done and highly enjoyable

impressive knowing how much had to have gone into it, but actually watching it isn't that enjoyable to me.

THAT was truly amazing! I can tell that this guy worked extremely hard on this. I'm pretty much working on a stop motion short film myself. It ain't easy, though. I'll tell you that. ;)

@nailbiter111 - Great find, dude! :)

Stay EPIC, my friends!

this is incredible due to the fact of how time consuming it is. i had to do one for a class before and it had over 500 pictures and barely made over a minute in time. plus waiting last minute to do it can make it extremely frustrating.

Sorry that animation is shitty. I did a better job when I was 9. Looks like the 2 frames per motion method to save time, and thus make every motion look like the character has a degenerative disease.

Another fun fact: the guy with Indy in that scene was played by Alfred Molina (aka Doc Ock from Spider-man 2)
