indy could of prevented world war 2.

raiders is set before world war 2,if you think about indy is asked if he will go in search of the ark & get it before the nazi's do.

at the end of raiders the nazi's open the ark,if indy had said f*ck it let them have the ark they would of took it back to germany & opened in front of hitler preventing world war 2.

@marvel72

So now WW2 is Indy's fault?
That hardly seems fair, and it's not even that simple.

Let me ask you this...do you think that national socialism and the Nazi movement in Germany at that time was driven and only sustained by one man?

That if he was killed, suddenly the entire ideology would immediately cease?

If not, and there were many people committed to the same cause and agenda, killing Hitler isn't really the solution to everything if the wheels were already in motion. It certainly isn't an ironclad guarantee that no other similar 'patriot' with the same belief system would fill the vacuum.

I think you'd have had to kill a lot more men than Hitler to stop WW2 around the time Raiders took place.

If the ark did that, then maybe it would happen.

As much as i love indiana jones, i must admit he really didnt have to do anything, the villians pretty much were killed by the objects they sought at the end of raiders, temple of doom and crystal skull. and in last cusade the grails effect pretty wears off once you leave the temple.

What a bunch of whiny pricks. No one's saying the movie sucks, they're just tossing some fun at the films. Fanboys are the worst type of audience.

Big Bang Theory took the idea (almost word for word) from the book "This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It" by David Wong. Also known for "John Dies At The End". Read a book!
