Michelle Monaghan Confirmed To Return For MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6
Mission: Impossible 6 is shaping up to be the biggest & most personal one yet and today, director Chris McQuarrie has announced the return of another very familiar face from Ethan Hunt's past.
Director Chris McQuarrie is on the record saying that Mission: Impossible 6 will be more of an emotional journey for Ethan Hunt, and earlier today, the Rogue Nation helmer further cemented that fact by revealing quite possibly one of the more surprising and arguably most personal cast additions yet as he announced, via Instagram, that Michelle Monaghan (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), will reprise her role as Ethan's ex-wife, Julia Meade, in the highly anticipated action sequel.
Following a starring role in Mission: Impossible 3, Monaghan briefly returned for a cameo at the end of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol before sitting out the last installment. It's a little uncertain what role she'll play in the coming chapter as last we saw her, she and Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt has parted ways to ensure her safety.
After completing their Paris schedule, the principal cast touched down in New Zealand earlier this week and Monaghan has now joined Cruise, Henry Cavill, and Simon Pegg on set.
