Love DBZ but I can't get into this new stuff. It nice that Toriyama is allegedly involved.

@luffycapri: What's gigantic? Goku never went Super Saiyan 2 in the cartoon. He skipped to 3. Level 3 has a drawback, though, in that it drains too much of your energy. That's probably why he's using Level 1 in that picture above. Also, Goku doesn't use the full force of his powers, unless he has to.

@luffycapri didn't goku go ss2 during the cell saga but said it put on to much muscle and would just slow him down

Yeah Goku was SS2 against Majin Vegeta. He demonstrated it again right before he transformed to SS3 in front of Majin Buu

If Akira Toriyama is involved then I'm in! I love that this takes place in between Z & GT. GT was just a travesty. I'd prefer to go on with my life as if it never happened!

I'm texting with my cell phone, the phone is set on auto spell check, the name gohan is not in the cell phone database, so my phone miss under stood what I was trying to say. And gohan is a sj 2 in this photo.

Some fan...@Luminus. How the hell wouldn't you know that? You thought he fought SSJ2 Vegeta in his regular SSJ form? Lol, he held back to make Vegeta feel worthy. O_o

I find it funny how it's tough to pinpoint exactly when Vegeta goes SSJ2. In Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 it says that Vegeta doesn't actually go SSJ2 until he fights Kid Buu on the Kai planet, although Majin Vegeta is as strong as a SSJ2.

As far as Gohan in the poster is concerned, I'm pretty sure that the old Kai said that Gohan could still go SSJ after achieving is Ultimate/Mystic form, but just that it would be unecessary since his Ultimate form was bascially the strongest thing out there.

Maybe that's how they'll build up the threat in this movie? That even Gohan's Ultimate form isn't strong enough.

It looks like the Rabbit is a new friendly I think the dude floating in the back is the villain. And yes just so everybody is straight. Goku hit all levels of super saiyan, Gohan never got passed 2 and stopped trying, Vegeta (badass)said F*&^ ssj3 and was the only one to jump levels.

@Jer3miah: I remember that incident. That's when Vegeta turned good for real, because he realized that he could never defeat Goku. I forgot about that one time, right before fighting Majin Buu, when he turned Super Saiyan 2. I can't remember everything. lol.

Ok to clarify some things: Goku went Super Super Saiyan against Cell, then Gohan was the first Super Saiyan 2. Then Goku was first Super Saiayn 2 against Majin Vegeta (who was technically a Super Saiyan 2 also). We all know Goku went Super Saiyan 3 against Buu and then when fighting Kid Buu, Vegeta truly turned into Super Saiyan 2 the fair way (without Babadi's help).

And Goku is fighting Anubis, an Egyptian god. I guess this means that the title "Battle of Gods" is pretty self explanatory. Can't wait.

Just to clarify...Trunks and Goku didn't go SSJ2 during the cell saga...It's called and ascended saiyan. It's like a ssj 1.5...just wanted to say...and yes Goku did go ssj2 during DBZ...three times...k that's my two cents.....and this is to go further beyond.....aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

GT was absolute garbage!!!! Plain. and. simple.

DBZ = episodes of characters throwing level 5 temper tantrums to "get stronger". yeah, nice "rich" plot...

I loved DB and DBZ back in the day. The show was fresh, innovative and full of colorful characters, but the DBZ formula is tired and played out now.

You already know whats gonna happen.

Goku lets bad guy whale on him cuz he's a good guy, then realizes that his competitive love for combat is endangering the world...again. Then he "gets serious", screams for 2 and 1/2 episodes, goes Super Saiyajin whatever and uses super hadoken. Insert new enemy, repeat formula.

I quickly lost interest in the show after the Cell saga. Once they broke out the fancy-dancer earrings I was done.

To me, DBZ is like Michael Jordan on the Wizards...painful to watch cuz everyone knows the franchise is past its prime despite its former "glory".
