IMDB Claims Jon Foo has been cast as Son Goku in the upcoming Dragonball Reboot

IMDB strikes again with Dragonball Reboot news with Jon Foo cast as Son Goku.

Seems some new (probably fake) cast is being added to the Dragonball movie reboot IMDB page again. This time Jon Foo is being listed to play Son Goku in the untitled and unofficial reboot of Dragonball Evolution. So, of course this is not official, but still fun to poke at nonetheless. @VideoColor Its rumored. There’s nothing official to suggest this is real yet, just some news tidbits from IMDb stating it’s been announced and is currently in production for release in 2012.

i think he's perfect, tekken wasn't very good but his performance is, he's definitely a good fit for the role (if this was true, people could stop [female dog]ing about him being asian, despite the fact he's an alien.)

Yea this dude a beast I saw his videos on YouTube! He would definitely be the best choice to play Goku, I hope its true!

I think this would be an ideal cast if it's true. Akira Toriyama should be in charge of writing the script AND who's cast as who. IF this is true, however.. Still, Mr. Foo is an amazing Martial Artist and he did pretty damn well in Tekken and the Street Fighter short film. Is there any video game/anime character this guy DOESN'T fit? Lol, kudos to him.

dragonball definitely deserves a reboot to do the series justice but it's just like everyone is sayin, it's really hard to trust what imdb says a lot of the time.

This could be interesting, the Dragonball series is my favorite anime of all time so if anything it deserves a reboot, and sticking to the source material this time.

it's funny how everybody hates the dragonball movie, it's actually not a bad movie, kind of how spider-man 3 was to spider-man.

dragonball evolution did to dragonball what dragonball did to journey to the west.

OK! look dragonball has to be handled appropriate and why not do it by re-releasing it back to the public with a tv show and I would only do dragonball as a t.v. show. It will also only be 2 seasons more depending on the request and only after the success of the movie. As far as Dragonball Z only the big screen will do. I also have been working on a cast list for the movie. Years ago I started with Robin shou as Goku and Jet-Li as Vegeta and maybe Jakie Chan as Master Roshi or who they had in evolution: yun-fat. I will have an updated cast list soon and will post it.
