ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: Hope Steals The Spotlight On This Awesome New IMAX Poster For The Sequel

Ant-Man and The Wasp may feature the Marvel Cinematic Universe's smallest superheroes but their team-up will be seen on huge IMAX screens and now a very cool new poster has been released focusing on Hope.

The marketing campaign for Ant-Man and The Wasp has kicked off in a big way this week and now IMAX is getting in on the action. While the company normally comes up with pretty unique looking posters, this one actually finds a clever way of promoting the benefits of seeing a movie like this on one of their screens. As you can see, the promise is that fans will get to see even more of the action.

While you may not think that would matter, it's bound to have an impact in a visually distinctive release such as this one, especially as a large chunk of the sequel will take place in the Quantum Realm.

It's interesting to see the spotlight put on The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) like this but seeing as it's just as much Hope Van Dyne's movie as it is Scott Lang's, that does make sense and more female superheroes on the big screen is definitely something which should be celebrated. What do you think of the poster? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section down below.

I've said it before and i'll keep saying it, i want Wasp leading the Avengers in phase 4. Not Carol, not T'Challa. Wasp. There is no other acceptable option.

@TheManWithoutFear - I love wasp, but realistically cap had lead men. They need someone who can who can do that. So captain marvel, t challa, or even hawkeye are good options.

@TheManWithoutFear - is it that you love the wasp, or is it you love evangeline/hope?

For me, I love wasp from the avengers animated show. I'll take her as leader any day. But I need to see more of Hope before I'm backing her

Can't wait to see the Wasp in the movie.

And I wanna point out how lovely Evangeline Lilly looks. I've seen set photos of her and she looks always smiling and friendly to her assistents and the other crew members on the set. She is a great person, I think.

@antman8o8 - this is the second AM movie. he took lead in the first and the post credits scene pointed directly to this movie... i don't see that it is role reversal, just a different lead for a different movie.
