Following a plethora of TV spots, the first clip from Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp is finally here.

It's a little on the short side, but we do get to see The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) in action as she uses her powerful Pym-tech suit, complete with wings and blasters (sorry, Scott), to take out a gang of goons.

We've seen the salt-shaker and knife-throwing shots before, but there is some new stuff here, and the TV spot that begins immediately after features a bit of previously unseen footage, too.



Ant-Man and The Wasp is set to hit US theaters on July 6, which means the Marvel sequel should be screening for press very soon. Keep an eye on CBM for those first reactions.

That's a very strange way to show a clip, interspersed with promos. We are already invested and interested, we're watching a clip.

@BlackBeltJones - the only ones seem ok with no pay and gettign kicked in the chest frequently are the hydra goons lol

That choreography of that last bit when the guy was hit with that pan... That was really bad.

@Fogs - Yeah, but I think it's more about the editing. A tighter edit would have improved on it I think. Way too much time before she throws a punch and you can see the guy waiting for it and so on. Remove a few frames here and there and the thing could work better.

@Fogs - Was thinking the same thing, and that kick following it. Really digging the inventive use of the powers, but the actual hand to hand stuff looks like tv stuff. Hopefully it will look better during the movie

I have a heavy belief that she’s gonna get most of the action scenes while Scott is basically comedy relief. I’m not gonna be surprised if he takes a backseat even tho he’s top billed

Not watching anymore of the spots and shit, but I can't wait to see more of Evangeline. She was great in the first, but now having a more substantial, badass role...i'm excited.

Also, she's fricking gorgeous.

I hope that scene doesn't play out like it did in that clip and it's edited together. That editing was interesting...
