According to IMDB Hulk is in The Avengers Movie!

IMDB lists the Hulk in the new Avengers movie. But, Edward Norton isnt listed as the hulk. It appears Lou Ferrigno is rumored to be the voice of the Hulk. So I wonder if they will just be using a CGI version of the Hulk with no one playing his other half Bruce Banner.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust IMDB just yet...I mean the script hasn't even been written yet how would they know who was in it?

imdb has been known to jump the gun a little bit.
if hollywood actually managed to go by what imdb says, we would already have Iron Fist, Deathlok, and Luke Cage movies.
not saying that wouldn't be AWESOME(!!!!!!) but i am all about quality control.
i dont know about you guys.......

Could the Avengers have a good slugfest with Hulk and then have him join the team for the final battle? Oh hell yes. Should he be the main and only villain in the film? No. I'd love to see Banner, Stark, and Pym together in a scene, the shear brainpower contain within that room could power Los Angeles for a year.
I see the fighting of superheroes amongst themselves as a rite of passage... they have to have that first meeting ass kicking session, its comic book tradition. So it fits the team forms and goes after Hulk, but I want him to be a true member of the team by film's end.

I don't think any of us know for certain how Avengers is going to play out yet, because we haven't seen all the pieces yet. We still need Cap and Thor brought in and the will-he-won't-he of Ed Norton needs to be worked out.

A lot can happen in a year and a half, there's no script or director yet, and as Iron Man proved.... the script a movie starts with can end up vastly different than the one that makes it through filming. So we'll really never know what movie we're going to get until that final edit hits the screens in 2012. Until then this is all rumor and conjecture.

I take what IMDB says with a grain of salt.

Though I certainly hope he's in Avengers. He's a necessary part of the team, at least in the first Avengers movie. After all, what would be the point of the Stark cameo in TIH if nothing comes of it?

But no to him as the villain, I see him as the first threat that brings the Avengers together, but he shouldn't be the main villain at all.

Well, nothing is official so its probably best not to take this too seriously - still I hope that we dont see just the Hulk because I'd like to see Banner as well!

MovieTheaterLad: Wasp was only Asian in the Ultimate version but she does actually look the part for that particular version of the character! Not sure about you Giant Man choice though...

hulk has been listed as being in the avengers for a long time on IMDB. it doesn't mean anything. IMDB is hardly a "facts only" website. we all know nothing is confirmed at this point
MIDAS
MIDAS - 11/3/2009, 6:47 AM
IMDB is wrong all the time. And it says (rumored) which means it isn't confirmed; it's exactly what it says, a rumor. Don't get too excited, even though I think the Hulk will actually be in the movie. I hope Ed Norton will be in it as well.

I concur gentlemen. IMDB should not be a trusted source for information at all. When it comes to CBMs, flakey geeks with wishfull thinking fill in the gaps in the so-called information with their own preferences

@ Viper: Nope IMDB is a lot worse. At least Wikipeda TRIES ro get experts, and the right people to contribute.

I hope they have Giant Man and Wasp in it...

Will Arnett is one of the funniest mother father's in Hollywood. Even though it's a shitty movie, I love Let's Go To Prison.

there's no doubt in my mind that they will fight the hulk in the avengers movie. its just not confirmed. and every time there's an article about an interview with norton, its sounding more and more promising that he'll be in it. but again, nothing is confirmed

and before this can of worms gets opened...in the comics the hulk was an avenger for a VERY brief time. he's actually fought the avengers a million times. he shouldn't be one of the team, at least not at first

Here's the deal. Why in the hell would Marvel take the time to not only reboot the Hulk franchise(which was a great flick by the way), but add the scene at the end of the movie with Stark and Ross to tie the Universe (Marvel movies, I mean) together, and then not use the Hulk in further stories!? Sounds pretty f*cking dumb to me. As we've heard, Feige mentioned that they could be using characters from the 'Hulk Universe', but what would be the point. Marvel seems to want to stick to the source material as much as possible and I'm pretty sure that as most people on this site know, HULK IS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS! As much as I want to see Norton in Avengers, I wouldn't be surprised if he's not, but Hulk should and will be in the movie. This whole 'will they or won't they' game Marvel is playing just seems like a way to jerk around the fans until the actual announcemnet

I don't think that the hulk will be the main villian because he's not causing enough damage to warrent all the Avengers to form together and come after him. Bruce has just been on the run not starting a World War. I think that they just want to recruit him unless Loki somehow makes Hulk come after them. But as far as the main villian goes... it won't be Hulk.

@DarthMulder. I agree 100%.
Yes without a doubt Hulk will be in Avengers movie. It would be a waste of time adding all the scenes of Tony Stark appearing as a cameo talking to gen. Ross, and of course the re-boot and not to mention that "Incredible Hulk" was a fantastic movie despite a mild success in the box office, but still a success. Ed Norton does want to be involved and the Hulk himself, Mr Lou Ferrigno has confirmed from NukeTheFridge.com that Hulk will be in Avengers and the production will not occur for at least another year and the talks of another Hulk movie is open but after the Avengers is release. The only concern that everyone should have is if Avengers will be released on time or at all. That would be a HUGE dissappointment.

i would love to see giantman, and hulk in it. i also think hulk should have a sequel and deal with the leader and more abomination. maybe abomination wants more power and leader gives it to him,the it take hulk to beat one and banner to beat the other with his sharp wits.hulk does need a sequel.
