I agree completely. I think all the points presented here are what most fanboys overlook. Damn good theory, glad other people share the same views as me and several others I know.

yeah man this is pretty decent theory,of course i would love it to be hank pym but saying that i'm interested in seeing what they come up with.

one little deviation from the source isn't gonna ruin the movie,the mandarin twist is/was worse & i still thought iron man 3 was good.

Pretty solid theory! I've had similar thoughts on Ultron, especially with how Iron Man 3 ended; actually makes me think Fiege n Marvel made that movie like that to set up Tony as Ultron's maker...

Admittedly, making Stark Ultron's creator does make sense because of his tech background and all, but personally speaking, I'd have preferred Hank being the prime creator for Ultron with Tony giving him a helping hand to get started with the process- maybe (if Hank was introduced earlier) with Ultron having been created by Hank as a means of redeeming himself after slapping his wife about... Just my ideal scenario but oh well, I'll still watch the film just a little disappointed they're not staying a little closer to the source material...

Cool stuff though! Hope u can check out my Captain America fan cast;

Great ideas, but I would like it if they did include Hank as the creator.

I get that it makes sense for the audience. The biggest problem is that I hate the fact that I'm going to have to explain to others that Tony didn't actually make Ultron and that Hank did. I think it would be more of a confusion matter for those who want to get into comics. Mandarin I didn't have as much a problem with because he could still easily meet the real Mandarin someday. With Ultron this seems like changing something that is pretty big in the comics.

I kind of hate it when people say, "Well I like how the movies did it." The thing is is even though yes perhaps it makes more sense the way the movies did it. Ultimately they weren't smart enough to follow the source material.

I think it could be that Hank Pym and shield had started making ultron but after the avengers they shut it down.Then Tony could find the files and complete him.

Well said. I think Extremis could also have some effect on Ultron.

im hoping something like this happens. hank pym creates a digital copy of his brain. tony creates ultron body, uses pyms digital brain copy as template for A.I. ultron then takes in jarvis.
