Loki isn't needed so I can see why he wouldn't be in the sequel

100% Agree
As much as I Fux with Loki in the MCU he doesn’t need to be a mainstay. If they go about things the way I think they are they they have to start weening several characters out soon. I think once they get to an Avengers 4 the entire roster is going to be different. I think it will be Black Panther, Antman, Dr Strange, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Vision or something along those lines. I think Maria Hill would’ve taken over SHIELD by then and the outlook of the entire MCU would be different. We may have a cameo from Hulk, Cap or Thor but they will not be the mainstays forever. The best part about the Avengers is that they have an ever-changing roster. There will never be a need for a Reboot in the MCU especially with everyone complaining about how much screen time Stark gets. The Universe will never become stale. With that being said they will need characters as charming as Stark and I believe Quill will be. I think Stephen Strange needs to be that charming character that gravitates general audience to the theaters and speaks for the common man. Anyway Loki is not needed in A2:AoU.

Dude Loki was AWESOME! The best comic book movie villain besides the dark knights joker. But I am kinda ready to move on from him.

loki isn't needed in anymore avenger movies,if they continue on with a third thor movie,loki can be in that.

I love Loki. I'm just ready for some new villains. Baron Zemo, Kang, Absorbing man, Radioactive man, Taskmaster, The Serpent Society, damn I could go on all night.

You do know that Loki was the reason the Avengers formed for the first time in the 616 right? Loki did a spell on Hulk and that made Thor, Antman, Wasp and Ironman ban together to stop the behemoth. It was decently accurate seeing as tho Loki made Hulk trip out on the helicarrier.

the only way i see loki comeing back for a avengers movi is for him to get killed by thanos, besides he doesent need to be a villian in the avengers it would get really boreing hearing hime preach the same shit about him being a god only this time he wouldent have an army to back him up.

dont get me wrong i love loki but he doesent need to appear again in the avengers, but i think he will probably have a cameo of some sorts.

I love how Tom has portrayed Loki in these flims and I hate to see him go. At the same time I want to see many other villians come out, Surtur, Ultron, Kang, Enchantress and so on. When Thor:TDW is said and done, I would like to see Loki and Thor go seperate ways and he can go collect himself and grow more powerful for a strong comeback in a future Thor flim.
