As we get closer to the much-anticipated release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, it's becoming harder to avoid spoilers or revealing visuals. Fortunately, that's not the case with this latest look at the Marvel sequel from Access Hollywood. Featured in the half-minute set visit segment are chats with the ensemble cast, as well as some new behind-the-scenes footage highlighting the Avengers Tower. In addition, I also stumbled across some neat promo images offering a new official look at Paul Bettany as the Vision and Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch. Unfortunately, the quality of the images is confined to bottle caps via Karamalz, but it's cool nonetheless. Check it all out below

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

I like Quicksilver. Always have from way back in the mid-70's when I started reading comics. I mainly like him because of his arrogance and hot temper. Before it became commonplace, Quicksilver always stuck out as being very different in attitude to other superheroes. I also liked his devotion to his sister who was the only one that could tolerate him. So contrary to thebearjew's assumptions, the character does have his fans.

Anyhow, despite me NOT wanting Quicksilver to die. I'm not too worried about it because I think it might actually serve the MCU better in the interim.

1. It's probably a directive from Joss Whedon to get more female heroes into the Avengers. With Quicksilver alive, Wanda probably wouldn't join the Avengers -but with his death, it will make it a lot easier for her to make that decision. Quicksilver has never been much of a team player throughout his history in the comics.

2. It also allows Feige to explore Wanda's relationship with Vision without Quicksilver getting in the way. If his character is resurrected or brought back -that relationship would have evolved to how it once was in the comics before there is any need for Quicksilver's reaction to it.

3. Lastly, there really isn't any story to tell with Quicksilver UNTIL Inhumans. And that movie is after Infinity War. So Feige has all of Phase 3 to hold Aaron to his multi-film contract and save his character for Phase 4 if he chooses to exercise that option.

THere are ways to resurrect the character if Feige plans to. Doctor Strange introduces the concept of parallel dimensions which could mean other counter-earths one of which Quicksilver may have survived the attack of Ultron's army. OR through the use of the Time Stone which could mean some time travel to right his death. EVERY Infinity Stone has had their powers revealed in various movies -you have to think that there is a story in revealing the Time Stone.

So going into AOU, I'm not bothered. If Cap does die in Civil War -there is going to be a way to bring him back for Infinity War Part 2. So there are a lot of possiblities out there for Feige. He always has a working plan much bigger than a single movie. For all we know this is his way in keeping the ranks of the Avengers to managable levels. If it's true about Captain Marvel joining at the end of AOU -we'll have 7 Avengers. Except for Infinity War -I can see Feige wanting to keep the numbers to 6 to 7 members.
