Stan Lee On Marvel, Batfleck, His Cameo In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON And More

Toofab's Brian Particelli sat down with Lee, who talked about what characters he would like to see adapted, whether or not he'll make a cameo in the sequel to The Avengers, if he thinks we'll ever see a female character get her own movie and more.

Right now, the people at Marvel are looking through our whole list of candidates and wondering which ones are we going to use now, said Stan Lee when asked who he would most like to see who hasn't made it to the big screan yet They are going to do the Black Panther. They are going to use Doctor Strange. They are going to do Ant-Man. They are going to do the Guardians of the Galaxy. And they’ll probably do the Inhumans. When asked about Batfleck Lee said, He's a good actor. I wish him all the luck in the world. He'll probably do a good job as Batman. When asked if he thinks we'll ever see one of his female characters get their own movie, Lee said, Well probably at one time they'll make a movie of the Black Widow. The thing is woman like these movies as much as the guys, so we don't have to knock ourselves out to find a female. On whether or not he'll cameo in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Lee says, I hope I'll make a cameo. See my problem is, sometimes they make a movie and they're shooting it too far away and I haven't got the time to go. So because of that I missed the latest Wolverine and the latest X-Men. But if ever they shoot it close by, or even if they're shooting it far away but I'm able to go there at the time, there's no way you can keep me out.

Stan Lee (born December 28, 1922) is an American comic book writer, editor, actor, producer, publisher, television personality, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.

In collaboration with several artists, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, and many other fictional characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. In addition, he headed the first major successful challenge to the industry's censorship organization, the Comics Code Authority, and forced it to reform its policies. Lee subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.

He was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.

He actually doesnt get paid close to a mill every year anymore. He has his own company going now...he's not retired. I think they still run lots of projects by him just to get his opinion and make him feel like he's in the loop, but like dio said he has no say in anything really.

Black Panther would be sick. But I'd think they'd refer to him as "Panther" throughout the movie to not be confused with the Black Panther party.

Inhumans!!!

I can imagine how epic that movie would!!!
Black widow movie couldn't work, maybe a one shot but they should go with Ms Marvel movie to be their first female superhero movie.

Black Panther is soo damn overdued and underrated that it got me wondering about Marvel.

"Wakanda would be a hard would to do"
But yet we got frigging Asgard and Cosmic space

@SnapperCarr that's a lame reason ti change his name; it soinds like a watered down CW title.

"Panther" was the name of the 1995 film about the Black Panther party anyways. It would be more confusing to avoid calling it what it is. They're just going to need to promote it right. "From the makers of The Avengers" should clear up any confusion immediately.

Out of the 6 X-Men or X-Men related (Wolverine) films so far, The Man only appeared in 2. That's mussed up, get on that Days of Future Past, Man.
I'm fairly sure the Elektra and Catwoman films killed any chance for Wonder Woman or other female superheroes to get their own film. Didn't those two films come out within a year of each other

Inhuman@ more like: PHASE 4 aka The Reboot featuring Kang the Conquerer (and no, that's not the latest hip hop single.)

atfer downey leaves they have to recast everyone except for the guardians (who may never even see the avengers again after phase 3.) and doctor strange (who marvel says is going to be their next tony stark. plus he's a sorcerer and could be the one link between the old continuity and the new.) case in point- jj abrams version of star trek with the old spock as the link. kang is lready a time traveler and one of the avengers greatest villains. a perfect set-up for a recast.

i'll be damned if IM3 is the last solo iron movie i ever see. RDJ or not...
