Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

EMPIRE covers are rarely any good nowadays, unless there's no photoshop involved. Which is never the case.

that's because they're using EL wire. When it's off, it's usually a darker color of the light or it magnifies the color of fabric behind the wire (in this case red)

This is a magazine cover. Of course there's going to be bad photoshop. This is almost as dumb as complaining about bad CGI in a teaser that is released over 6 months before the movie comes out.

That looks absolutely horrible. Possibly the worst editing i've ever seen, and outside of "Cap's" outfit that everyone is raving about-- which I personally think is merely "OK" -- they all look worse than any iteration of the outfits we have seen thus far.

And Black Widow's appearance is just embarrassing, this is very unflattering for the actress, sadly.

I will say this though: it'd be nice if ANYONE manages to someday make Tony's head fit with all the armor underneath. Until then, it'd be nice if they just kept his helmet on.

Then again, RDJ's face is marketable. That's why Thor and Cap don't have helmets on, and Hawkeye has no mask too. And that's why Iron Man is usually front and center. Marketing is usually not concerned with accurately representing the leader of the Avengers. Nor should they be.
