By DCMarvelFreshman - Oct 28, 2014 07:10 PM EST

Despite all the "Phase Three" announcements today, Marvel and Disney have lived up to their promise of airing a new Avengers: Age of Ultron scene immediately after the latest episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. These sort of things are usually released much closer to the movie's release, but considering someone leaked the first official Age of Ultron teaser last week, Marvel/Disney had to make some changes. Anyhow, the scene is only available in low-quality, but it features the team celebrating at the Avengers Tower, and eventually attempting to wield Thor's mighty Mjolnir.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

Can anyone tell if Rhodes was wearing his War-Machine handglove or Iron Patriot handglove?
MrCBM56
MrCBM56 - 10/28/2014, 7:15 PM
@FordEl you're probably the minority in that case, but personally what I meant was just more scenes with The Avengers just hanging around and chilling and interaction scenes like seen in the preview. We didn't get much of that in the first.

And the gem in Loki's staff is totally the Mind gem. Why else would QS and SW be going "against" the Avengers? They also showcased it in the video montage clip leading up to the Infinity War teaser with Thanos holding all of the gems. There's the Cosmic Cube, Aether, Orb and Mind Gem that's 4 of the what 6? Am I right? Told you!

Humor is what makes these movies tick, or else it will just become dull. What, a scene like this, were people expecting it to be all serious?

[frick] that, give me that humor

Hopefully they tone it down a bit and improve the writing. By the looks of it I can see they definitely improved in the cinematography department.

That scene makes the trailer so much better. Shows everyone having a good time and then Ultron comes in an is like "Yeah, no more laughing around." Can't freakin wait for this movie.

Love the party scene. The dynamic between the group is handled perfectly here. And the look on Thor's face as Cap slightly moved the hammer is priceless!

Something tells me that red jacket/trench coat thing that Thor is wearing would be his actual uniform if Bryan Singer was making this movie.
