AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR And ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Release Dates Delayed On Disney+

Disney+ has been around since last November, but it still doesn't include every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Unfortunately, two noteworthy titles have now been hit with slight delays on the platform!

In Europe, Disney+ subscribers have been able to enjoy pretty much every single movie set in the MCU - aside from the Spider-Man films - since March, but those of us in the United States are still waiting for two of them. We're obviously talking about Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and The Wasp, two titles which remain just out of the grasp of Marvel Cinematic Universe fans.

Unfortunately, there's been a slight delay for both. Avengers: Infinity War is coming one day later on June 26, while there's going to be a two-week postponement on Ant-Man and The Wasp, which has now been scheduled for August 14.

These aren't the biggest release date changes we've seen lately with all the coronavirus (COVID-19) madness going on, but fans are bound to be frustrated. A number of other alterations have also been confirmed, with Solo: A Star Wars Story coming later than planned on July 10.

A search of the Disney+ app/website also confirms that The Incredibles 2 has now been moved back to July 31, and Maleficent won't be coming to the platform until October 1.

Disney+ is hurting for fresh content at the moment, so delays like this are unlikely to help subscriber numbers (despite that, they're still increasing massively on a month by month basis).

To be honest I don't think Disney+ is hurting for content all, atleast not for the general audience which I think easily makes up 90% of the subscribers

@MalseMarcel

Why do you say that?

I would say that might be true for families and young kids.

Not necessarily 20-somethings or college kids.

@regularmovieguy - For the people that look forward to new Star Wars and Marvel there isn't much, but I don't consider them (or should I say us as I'm one of those people) part of the general audience
