Love and Monsters premieres at home and in select theaters on October 16th from Paramount Pictures, and takes place seven years after the "Monsterpocalypse." Humanity has been forced to hide underground, but Joel (Dylan O'Brien) decides to embark on a dangerous mission to reunite with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick) after reconnecting with her over the radio. However, with dangerous monsters standing in his way, their reunion isn't going to be an easy one.

Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) and Ariana Greenblatt (Avengers: Infinity War) are also part of the cast, and we recently caught up with the latter to discuss her role in the movie.

We'll bring you the full interview tomorrow, but after playing the young Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, would Greenblatt be open to returning as a teen version of the character in James Gunn's Vol. 3? After all, Gamora has returned from the dead, and exploring her teen years could be a lot of fun.

"1000%!" Greenblatt said of a possible MCU return. "Gamora is such a fantastic character to play, and I'd love to be on that set again and see everyone again. Also, Zoe Saldana is such an inspiration to me, so for me to see her again and work with her would be amazing. So, definitely yes!"

As for whether there are any other Marvel heroes of villains she would like to play, the actress admitted that she wasn't sure, but named America Chavez as one possibility. "I don't know. Gamora is such a cool character. I'm not too sure if there are too many Latina superhero roles. I do know Miss America Chavez, but I'd definitely love to return to the MCU, for sure."

Miss America is set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Greenblatt is definitely the right age to play a younger version of the character. We'll have to wait and see, but be sure to check out an exclusive clip from her new movie, Love and Monsters, in the player below:
