Hey guys! Although this is NOT the video footage I have shot; I would like to let you all know that as requested, I have indeed shot test footage of myself as Lex Luthor. We are now editing it and it will arrive very soon. While you wait, here are a couple more photos of the character we did. Be sure to hit that Red Like and help me with exposure! Enjoy.

@thepresidentgaming- thanks for sharing that link to my photo. Glad you like it! I'm doing my best to bring out the comic side of the character in a grounded reality. Rosenbaum was a great teenage lex luthor that fit the smallville series, but personally I think this lex needs to be a bit older and a little more manly. Keep on the lookout for the vid, coming soon!

Interesting.
I'm normally a super cynical and vehement adversary of most fan-casts, but since this is you, and you've clearly been putting in an effort to get the part, i'm supporting you 100%!
All the best, man.

I hate to do this but I can not resist. You've been in other films, haven't you?

...aaaand Weird Science!!

I hope you understand that I'm just messing with you. It's good to see someone care about a character that ISN'T the lead hero. Lex needs to be TRULY represented in a film (hasn't happened yet). I'm glad that someone else wants to see that side of Luthor.

@drstampe17- Cranston looks good. No doubt. In my opinion he is to old. Superman was 30 or 32 in the MOS film. Lex needs to be around the same age as supes, not pushing 50. This character needs to age with supes, and have the physical ability to go toe to toe.As he "should" play a big role in these movies from here on out. An older Batman works, not an older lex. Supermans arrival should begin Luthors decent into the mad man we know. At a younger age. In my opinion.

Holy.........crap........I forgot all about that film (the therapy helped). Yeah, he was. It's amazing (and slightly alarming) how many of those old films he was in. He was pretty prolific in the eighties and early nineties.

I believe that Lex should be portrayed as a self-made billionaire (with all of the enemies, bribes, and destroyed lives left in his wake along the way). His descent into madness shouldn't be just the same old power-trip but, rather, as a reaction to this "alien" showing up and stealing his thunder. Think about it, Luthor could have been viewed as the "Man of the Century" for his scientific advancements but, "lo and behold", this alien arrives and, due to a random genetic anomaly, possesses god-like power that he did not have to earn (all of this would be Lex's opinion and reason for his hatred of all things Kryptonian). Lex could see this as "cheating" him out of his rightful destiny as the hero of all humankind. Therefore, all of his future schemes may not entirely rely on killing Superman but, rather, discrediting him. Not so much a "murderous rage" but rather a desire to prove to humanity that this alien is not a god and is not superior to Luthor.

Much respect, but I'm sorry, I don't think it's a good fit. I agree with most of the thoughts behind Luthor (not being too old for one), but the physicality/presentation of your take reveals a lot of holes in your understanding/interpretation of the character.

Hey all, thanks for your comments. Positive & negitive. Really helps me out!! Just a few responses here-

@KeefNcookies: It's hard to explain in paragraphs, but I don't mean to imply that Lex needs to take on Supes one on one. If you look at Lex, he has armor suits, jetpacks ect. I mean to say he needs to be phsyically fit enough to undertake these things. Lex does not just sit in his office. He has his side the public sees, and the side they don't. He does participate in his undertakings. I would like to put on a few lbs for the part. I know you see holes, but I'm doing what I can with short sentences and photos atm.

@cdpacheco89- If you have seen my other photos I Did previously, I think the GQ cover is pretty suave. That being said, these are photos. Of certain Instances. Not of the character I vision as a whole. There is much more to portray.:)

@Loki668- you have the same thought process on Lex as I do. Thats what I'm talking about.

@Greengo- Yea. lol. When I draw or write, I tend to think alot, It's a bad habbit. My wife hates it! Something Im woking on.

In closing, Haters are gonna hate, I know that. That's what most CBMers do. You all wanna see a comic movie done right, yet allways find a reason to say it sucks. Yet you say that from the bench, as you do nothing. We all have our visions. In reality, do I know I probably wont get the role? Yup. Will it stop me from trying? Nope. I dont sit on the bench. The only way to accomplish anything is to try.

Thanks again all, Keep 'em coming!
