The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit cinemas July 20th, 2012, and will feature an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway, Josh Pence, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman & Joseph Gordon Levitt.

At least she seems to respect the role and thinks she has to work as hard as possible to give a good performance.

I grew up with Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman. I'm hoping Hathaway can give this character some of that sexiness that was brought with the Burton movies.

i have faith in her....she is sexy, and so funny.
she is becoming a new favorite of mine, because she is no longer just comedy...she is dramatic, romantic. and action. she is gonna kick ass

nice to see the amount of respect she has for the character, shame about the shit mask though.

"After Christian Bale you are the most high profile person in the cast..."
No she's not... I mean she's good, but I think Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman might have something to say about her being the most high profile actor in the film behind Christian Bale... Or have they not even started filming yet?

@ELgUaSoN yea nothing seems epic....there is only rumoured to be, prison breakouts, huge riots, an earthquake machine, a whole football field collapsing, hostages, Bane, Catwoman, Catwoman stealing the Batpod, the Batwing, Bane's tumblers, a new tumbler, floods, earthquakes, the entire destruction of Gotham city...yea nothing epic whatsoever...its practically an indie.

And no Hathaway has not been talking about the movie constantly, she is responding to questions that people have been asking her about it, and she is answering them the best she can, without being rude. She's currently on a press junket for another movie, so obviously Catwoman questions are going to arise. Bale, has not lined up movies, so therefore, the only way to get him to talk about TDKR is to have an actual formal interview. Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman, have two movies coming out TOGETHER, so no doubt we will get some info from them soon.

I saw her naked in a movie, believe me, her body is phenomenal...
She probably wasn't really the biggest comic book fan growing up,but she is a damn good actress. She will do awesome.

AND..while i finish my rant, to say that no one is going to see this movie because Ms Hathaway is utterly childish and immature, the girl has done good, shes stunning, funny shes a good actress! Maggie Gyllehaal obviously didnt put people off The Dark Knight.

How the hell does anybody know how big of a comics fan she was as a child?! LMAO There's absolutely NO way you could possibly know that. She seemed very sincere in this interview. The best Catwoman is the one YOU like best. Oh and to the Marvel fans who are here just to shit on anything DC: I could just as easily go to the Avengers stories, and repeatedly comment about how much I think that pic looks cut and pasted to hell, nothing about it looks "epic", and I'm not at all excited about the movie. So instead I'll just say from here: Blow me.

SHe hopes she doesn't let Nolan down? HOW ABOUT THE FANS? Im sorry, but I can believe that she likes catwoman but not idolizing her and wanting to be her. And the thing about the comics, she has a point about catwomans character depends on her setting, BUT there is ALWAYS,..ALWAYS something you can learn from the comics! the TRUE source material, not Nolan.

Im sure I wanted to "play Catwoman" is taken out of context, I highly doubt she watched the West/Animated series, and went "I want to play her when I'm an actress" she probably wanted to be "Catwoman" I mean didnt we all?.....I mean, Im a guy, and I wanted to be Catwoman!
