With Batman vs. superman on its way and constant news and rumors of cast, characters, and storyline pouring out the upcoming film is beginning to seem just as if not a little more rushed than its predecessor Man of Steel. They really need to slow it down and not make it a non stop slug fest between the two.
Zach Snyder was responsible for Watchmen. A highly underrated and visual striking comic book movie team. Everything about this movie mirrored the justice league. If Zack Snyder looks at the formula he had with watchmen, it could bring life to the upcoming team up movies. The Characters, The visuals, and the tone.
The Characters(Batman as a focus point, naturally we don't want this honestly forced incorporation to meet the skepticism we already have):
Rorschachs investigations and mental narrative would be a great fit for Batman. Hes grim, brutal, and to the point. Batman vs superman should go back and forth between gotham and metroplis before the big meet. A scene where Batman tries to figure out Supermans mentality something like this would bring the batman we know to life.
Night owls costume design could be a possible preview as to what we can expect in Batman vs superman. I for one, would prefer an arkham origins style armor but something like this would not disappoint and night owls costume does have a slight resemblance to the Batman Noel suit.

The tone:
Watchmen was slow and dark. Not Nolan trilogy dark, But comic book evil dark. The scenes where the comedian ruthlessly torched human beings and when Dr. Manhattan destroyed Rorschach. Scenes like this would benefit Batman. Giving us the dark and entertaining feel of the graphic novels. i know Im gravitating towards Watchmen influencing Batman but i feel Batman sets the tone for any future team ups.

A scene that could tease Zach snyders batman
The visuals:
1. Watchmens world did not seem like ours. It wasnt grounded in reality it was grounded in the watchmen universe. Metroplois should be grounded in metropolis as should Gotham in Gotham.
2. Dr. Manhattan had an interesting look/persona and similarity that could be used as influence for Martian Manhunter. This clip has show an example of Dr. manhattan and a mirror of a jutice league interaction
3. This doesn't really have anything to do with watchmen but i found this floating on the internet an thought it was appropriate.
4. And last but not least. The opening retro look at watchmen would be an awesome montage to incorporate into Batman vs superman and the justice league. Something like this but the silver age of dc would be a great opening for any dc team up.
