SILVER & BLACK Will Reportedly Feature Some Unexpected Heroes From The Comic Books

We learned earlier this week that a number of villains from the comics will feature in Silver & Black and it's now been revealed that we can expect some familiar heroic faces too. Is Spider-Man among them?

It sounds like we can expect a long list of classic Spider-Man villains make their presence felt in Silver & Black but according to That Hashtag Show, there will be a few heroes as well. Peter Parker isn't going to be among them (that was to be expected) but we will see Dominic Fortune and Agent Mark Sim. The former has quite a bit of history with Silver Sable and has crossed paths with a fair few superheroes.

In the movie, it's said that he and Sable have a past together so Sony Pictures is following the comic books as the two worked together in the 2006 mini-series Sable and Fortune. As for Sim, he's a Korean-American New Warriors character who doesn't have a huge role in the movie but is leading a team pursuing Black Cat. Fortune is part of his team and they're going to be joined by Powell and Klein. 

Chances are that's a reference to Doug Powell and Lorna Kleinfeldt, two members of Silver Sable's Wild Pack. Why they would be after their leader is hard to say, but it could be that this movie deals with her assembling the team. Then again, perhaps Sable will also work with them before realising she needs to team up with Felicia Hardy! Time will tell but share your thoughts on this news in the usual place.

Sony doing Sony things. If you're going to make a Spider Man universe without Soider Man, at least make a movie that sounds interesting: A movie when Kraven is out to hunt the Lizard in New York, a solo Morbius movie, or even Spider Gwen would be so much more appealing than "Silver and Black" will ever be. I hope it doesn't make it to post production.

Though, maybe put it in someplace other than NY. Like maybe the Everglades. Or maybe it starts in the wilderness and then he tracks him back to New York in the third act.

@Spock0Clock - That's secretly my dream Spider-Man movie.

Dr. Conners turns into the Lizard, and Kraven travels to America to hunt him. Spider-Man eventually steps in (he knows the Lizard is a good guy inside), and helps turn the Lizard back to his human self. In the mix of it all, Kraven is publicly humiliated and resorts to hunting Spider Man. The third act would essentially be "Kraven's Last Hunt."

Well, other people obviously liked it, but Holland aside, I [frick]ing despise Homecoming. And with all my hopes for a great spiderman franchise resting on the MCU finally getting him (these are the guys who aced Iron Man, Cap, and Dr Strange's intro flawlessly) I've given up an I'm open to anything. Venom spinoffs, whatever. If MCU stuffed it, their best character, Spiderman 2 was obviously the best I'm gonna get.

Just remember that it's not set in the MCU but it is, and that Captain America fought in this universe's WWII but he also didn't.

Geez this Silver Sable/Black Cat film is still happening. I would have hoped Homecoming being released would kill off these solo films.

Pretty sure Sony Pictures is run by a movie plot generator at this point. Next they're gonna be doing a Sandman movie where it's just an hourglass that takes two hours to fill up.
