Mark Ruffalo's involvment as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Captain America: Civil War has been rumored a few times, but there's been no confirmation from an official side whatsoever so far.

Now it seems as though a Hulk appearance in Captain America 3 is a done deal.

Some of the cast members (namely  Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Daniel Brühl) are residing in Germany for shots presently, and according to Germany's biggest Newsletter BILD Mark Ruffalo is definitely working with them on the movie.

The article says:

Seit dieser Woche drehen die US-Superstars Chris Evans (34), Mark Ruffalo (47) und Anthony Mackie (36) gemeinsam mit Schauspiel-Star Daniel Brühl (37) den dritten Teil von „Captain America“ in Berlin.

Translation:

Since this week, US superstars Chris Evans (34), Mark Ruffalo (47) and Anthony Mackie (36) along with fellow actor star Daniel Brühl are shooting the third part of „Captain America“ in Berlin.

The group also supposedly has been seen partying in Berlin's nightlife together.

Though there is only a blurry picture of Daniel Brühl from one of the parties existing, it's hard to imagine, a huge newsgroup like BILD is misinformed about local shots. Until we have visual confirmation, we'll have to wait to be sure though.

This is cool, it will be interesting to see what part he will play in the movie. Because he wasn't in the Civil War comic.

I actually want Hulk (not only Banner) to show up in the film. But ONLY if Red Hulk shows up to.

Seriously though this is my most anticipated movie for next year...I think.

@SidDaAstroSloth

Basically my feelings exactly. Still hoping for a strong focus on Cap.

Hulk? What was that Marvel fans used to say about BvS? "WAAAAY TOO MANY CHARACTERS!"

Riiiiiiiiight...

Anyways, this movie should be fun. Funny that we will be getting two superhero movies that thematically will be insanely close. The whole "Hero vs Hero", "accountability" thing and so on.

Interested to see how the two movies will tackle the subject.

Like others, I only want Hulk to show up if Red Hulk is present. Otherwise, he's really not needed, and nobody can really take him on -- Iron Man will be busy with Cap.

I suspect the final big brawl will be between Baron Zemo's Thunderbolts and the alliance of Team Cap and Team Iron Man.

This movie will probably blow the other two Avengers movies out of the water, as much as I like them.

Bring it on!

The more I look at these news reports, the more I think that Hulk is in the movie but in a post credits scene that has nothing to do with the main story, but to set up his next appearance in the future MCU films. Guardians 2, or Infinity War, etc.

@GliderMan

I don't think Civil War needs Hulk, I think Hulk needs Civil War. If he's not in this film, he's probably not going to be in any other MCU films up until Infinity War, which does nothing for his character.

Ok, as much as I love the sound of this, I am hating this film being less about Captain America and more Avenger. And that's not making me happy. Loved TWS because it was more of a Captain America Movie, and actually elevated him very higher. Hopefully most of them are just side fillers or this movie should be 3 hours or more.

While the Russos made a great movie,it was just 1 movie, and that doesn't guarantee the quality. Anybody could help me to reduce this fear, but right now, I am very skeptical about this.
