Rob Cohen will bring 90s cult comics hit 'Razor' and its followup 'Stryke' to the sliver screen. Mr. Cohen has written the screenplay for 'Razor.'  Cohen said of Razor, "I have loved 'Razor' since its first publication.  It has operatic themes, female empowerment, revenge, action, a love story, all shrouded in a delicious darkness that fits our times."

The 90s era 'Razor' comics were created by writer Everette Hartsoe and published by London Night Studios. The comicbook 'Razor' tells the story of lead character Nicole Mitchel who becomes Razor.  Nicole begins her journey as a young woman who has lost her father and sister to violent crime. Vowing to rid her city of crime, Nicole takes on the superhero identity Razor and wears blades on her arms.  As Razor, she confronts the crimelord who killed her family with astounding consequences in both the meterial and mystical realms.  Mr. Hartsoe introduced Razor in 1992 and since then comics featuring Razor have sold over 6 million issues worldwide.

Cohen has partnered with Jeff Most, a producer on the 1994 cult hit film "The Crow," to produce the film version of Razor. Number 11 Films has set 'Razor' as the first film under its new sales and financing partnership with Lotus Entertainment.  Number 11 Films will fully finance 'Razor' and handle worldwide sales.  Number 11 Films and Lotus Entertainment plan to introduce 'Razor' to buyers at the next Marche du Film.

If the number of comic covers shown online with "Mature Audiences Only" emblazoned prominently and blurred female anatomy are any indication, the original books published by London Night Studios may have been quite racy. You may want to keep the backissues away from your younger brothers and sisters.

They always pushed(and went over) the boundaries of nudity in comics.
