Iron Fist and Shang Chi teaming up ... awesome.

And I guess old Cyclops is still alive.

Admittedly i'm not reading the book, but those variant covers seem like odd choices?

I've only read the first 3 or 4 issues, but I thought they were great. Kind of like Game of Thrones meets Marvel.

So, these days I guess it must go something like..."whoever the Hell feels like playing with a hammer....he/she/it shall posses the power of THOR!!!"

Comics suck so hard now. It's no wonder kids aren't buying them.

It's clear you're talking out of your ass. You haven't read or even looked up a summary of a single one of these secret wars comics have you? No you just log in to talk about the good ole day where comics were great and you could see a movie for a dollar and still have change to fill your gas tank.

From the comments we all can tell who doesn't read comics. ∆∆

Why complain when you haven't even read the content, fake rage.

I think sinster has died the most out of any marvel character.

Everytime he returns he dies. lol

Dope covers. When this is all done, I hope Cyke gets treated better than the last couple of years.

You're absolutely right. I stopped reading comics a few years ago when they started having a cross company crossover event every other freaking month. Instead of buying the titles you wanted to read, you had to buy 6 different titles every month to follow any (take your pick) one of their weak stories. When every three issues of any title you chose to pick up claimed to.."completely change the status quo and shake up the face of the company for years to come."

I stopped reading comics when the writers stopped writing to entertain and instead threw shock, and grab stories out one after the freaking other in order to rope you in to spending more money.

You call it whatever you like. I have a forty year comic collection sittin on shelves in my house. Go ask mom for more money for the crap they are dishing out now. Whatever trips your trigger.

@Campblood

i believe he died right before the original universe was destroyed.

Looks Doom never tried to recreate him. Which makes sense because he tried to get rid of anyone who might be a threat.

I love people who act superior about the lowest common denominator of literature. Enjoy the 40 year old picture book collection gathering dust. Those of us who are adults and realize this is just a product for entertainment and not oxygen or water will enjoy reading whatever we decide to read.

I'm really hoping Cyclops returns. His death was way too quick and blah. Definitely was expecting so much more from a Phoenixed up Scott.

I love people who attack anyone who's opinion differs from their own and then have the arrogant, audacity to claim that they are not the one with a superiority complex. It takes a special kind.

@Hawksblueyes

In all fairness you did start criticizing a story that you went on to say you haven't read. However as a long time reader myself I take exception to people marginalizing someone's opinion because they've had a few extra birthdays. I do agree with you on some of your points. Comics are definitely changed these days. But I wonder if comic readers from the 60's felt this way about 80's and 90's books.

Hawksblueyes.

You just sound like a bitter old fart.

Kids are consuming more comic based media than ever before. Movies, video games, Cartoons, toys, tv shows.

Most of the comics themselves are geared a little more for the older readers today.

You're the one reeking of arrogant, audacity, when you make declarative sweeping judgments that concern an entire multi company industry and millions of consumers/fans.

This site is the only site I know where people hate the comics that their heroes come out in. It's so funny, it's sad.
