RESULTS: What DC Property Would You Like To See On TV Next?

This one had a pretty clear cut winner. Click to see which DC character the majority of the CBM community want to see grace our small screens next..

Feature Opinion

The Flash and Green Arrow were close at third place, with Batman coming in second with over 15% of the votes. But with almost 24% of the votes is our winner, Nightwing. It seems the original Robin is the character the majority of you want to see a new tv series on. And he would indeed be a great choice.

Here are the results in full. Minus poor Hawkman who I couldn't fit in the screencap! He had 35 Votes (1.83%).

With WB and the CW planning another superhero tv series sometime next year, we m,ay have an idea on which character they will be going with soon enough.

If they decided to do Nightwing, I hope they stick to the original "Black-Blue" costume..and the classic look/appeal...rather than the stupid relaucnh version "red-black...with red eyes"....Why is the universe all of a sudden darkening their characters....i think its stupid.

A Nightwing show would work. Get the whole former Boy Wonder thing out of the way in the opening and move on. Have him in Bludhaven and basically adapt a few stories from the early Nightwing comics.

Nightwing is the only one that should have a series. He needs something.

I think DC should go back and try to do the Graysons tv show. It seemed interesting. Maybe the league had tried to recruit them and they rejected the offer, and the show is about the League tracking them down and sending different killers after them as they travel with the circus. Eventually meeting their doom in Gotham.

I like Green Arrow better, what makes Nightwing special other than his acrobatic fights? Oliver Queen has his left-wing socio-political view and sizeable wealth. Richard Grayson is just a nice guy, with endowment money from his foster big brother (Bruce is too young to be a foster father).

I still say Static Shock would work as a live action television show.

IF I had to choose Nightwing would have ben my first choice. He has no powers which would translate to the small screen easily. He is well known which would generate fans. He has a strong supporting cast even without Batman himself.

@Themessenger & Samhell
If you look at your posts together it looks like thats Nightwings shadow.

On another note
WTF is DC doing? Not only are they loosing in film but with the reboot and the Robin internship they are loosing a lot of fans including me.

@ Johntom88
I dont think the real Green Arrow would translate to TV too well with them messing up the charactor in smallville. Nightwing has his relationships with Babs and Star to create romance. His growing out of Bruces shadow would make for good drama with tension between their views of the job and how the world is. His acrobatics and ninja-esqe style would draw kiddies in who dont know who he is. The only thing I pray for is accuracy to charactor design, background skill set and personality.

I love Nightwing and think he would make a great TV show or movie franchise.
BUT... we are talking about Warner Bros. here. What we would get is a 90210 meets Batman teen angst Nightwing series.
I saw the pilot episode of what they did with Wonder Woman. I almost would prefer if they left Nightwing alone.

I hope they make this, and I hope it is made good. The Graysons tv series was a bad idea, Dick Grayson is my favorite comic character after batman, but there is no reason to show his life before he became Robin, it just wouldnt be interesting

Can I ask, does anyone REALLY know what abusive content is? In my book, a comment of "1st" is far from a comment to report, such has been the trend here lately. BTW, I loved THE FLASH series from the 90s and think Green Arrow or Nightwing would be great choices as well for a new series. GA spun out of SMALLVILLE would be cool, since he already has the Justice League built in...

I love how people say Smallville sucks and they overlook the fact that it was good enough to go on for ten years.

I'm not a fan of Smallville, but come on, ten years. A decade of ratings good enough to get another season.

Nightwing will be a great "Dark Knight Spin off series" I cannot hardly wait. Taylor Lautner can make a great casting playing Dick Grayson from "The Boy Wonder" to "The Knight Wonder".

@Knight3000: Yeah, definitely. I was hoping Chris O' Donnell would become Nightwing at the end of Batman and Robin, but it probably won't happen now. He's getting up there. Not sure how old he is, but you know. There's plenty of other dudes out there that could bring Nightwing to life. Just make sure it's done right.
