COMICS: First Look At Mark Millar And Frank Quitely's JUPITER'S LEGACY #2

Image Comics has released an unlettered preview of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely's Jupiter's Legacy #2; a comic book that they say is "frankly much-more interesting" than a certain Man of Steel's 75th anniversary! After the superb first issue, it's hard to disagree!

The comic book event of 2013 continues as the schism between the superheroes widens and a plot to unseat the greatest hero of them all emerges. Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Superman this month by buying this frankly much-more interesting book by superstar creators MARK MILLAR and FRANK QUITELY.

I don't like how it's set (in some ways) in our world. They mentioned the president by name in issue #1, kinda like breaking the fourth wall in film.

I like Millar's work, but Frank Quitely's work just doesn't do anything for me.

@Nomis lol! Well I'm going to get the first issue of this series. If it's good, I'll wait until the trade comes out.

I'm also going to read Nemesis but I heard that it's not that good.lol

the first issue was very good, loving the artwork & i really don't have a problem with millar's writing.

best bit of issue 1 was the fight with blackstar.

Sad but true. You'd think they could scrape up a good Superman story for his 75th, but noooooo. Hopefully Man Of Steel can make up for it. Too bad Alan Moore buned his bridges with DC. I'd kill for a new Superman story by Moore.

Meh, the art is interesting, but i found how they got powers and the introduction to be random.

For all of those bashing the book, it's actually pretty decent and I don't usually read ANY of Millar's stuff. All I'm saying is: try something before... Eh, [frick] it. I'm talking to internet here.

@tobeyoungagain It's published by Image Comics, so it's not related to any pre-existing comics.

Hope this helps! No drive-by here.
