According to Latino-Review, 20th Century Fox have won the right to upcoming Image Comics series Starlight. It joins previous Millarworld adaptations Wanted, Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2. Nemesis is also at Fix, while The Secret Service is currently being shot by X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn. Check out the Tweets below for details and the cover art/solicitation text for issue #1.

So much for retirement! This March, meet Duke McQueen, a man who has long since settled down and left his days of saving the Universe and operating as the space hero everyone depended on—at least that’s what he thought. His wife long passed and his kids off embarking on their own adventures, Duke lives a quiet, solitary life until he receives an unexpected call from a distant world, calling him to action one last time. This March begins an all new ongoing series with STARLIGHT #1, Mark Millar (JUPITER’S LEGACY, KICK-ASS, WANTED) and Goran Parlov's (Fury MAX: My War Gone By, Punisher MAX) much-anticipated first salvo in an intergalactic adventure that will have fans leaning in as they read.

Can Fox crossover Millar's characters with the X-Men if they wanted to?

I think Millar is more concerned with his Millar-movieverse than FOX Marvel.lol

Why the hate?
We should encourage comic creators having properties turned into films.
Millar has more good stuff than bad, judge the work not the man.

@ Backward

Good question, but I don't think so. I think that may brech the contract if it did happened. Marvel probably put something in the contract that won't allow something like that to happened. Probably to protect themselves and the Marvel brand if say, Sony hypathetically sold Spidey to WB and Spiderman ended up in a DC-centric movie. Marvel will proabably sue them if it happened.

Other than the Kick-Ass stuff, all of Millar's independent work is really bad.

I love how they want to adapt a comic that HASN'T EVEN BEEN PRINTED YET....

Mark Millar flew too close to the sun and now he's just M. Night Shyamalanin' himself..
