Marvel and ESPN have teamed up to publish "Lebron: King of the Rings", a comic book that follows a fictional career of Miami Heat star Lebron James. The premise is that James delivers on his famous promise from the July 2010 Miami Heat pep rally when he said "We didn't come here to win one championship, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven...".

Throughout his fictional career, James will face challenges such as building himself bionic legs because of persistent quad injuries, teaming up with a zombified Shane Battier, and facing a team of Lebron James clones created by Pat Riley. James will also learn new skills, such as shooting free throws underhand, levitating, and performing magic tricks.

The creators promise cliffhanger endings, such as Lebron facing the decision of whether to shoot or to pass the ball.

The 12-page comic book will be inserted in every issue of ESPN The Magazine's NBA Preview, which is on stands October 19th. The end, which will determine if Lebron wins his 8th NBA Championship, will be decided by an ESPN SportsNation poll.
